For months now I have had a desire for a specific kill.

It consumes me more than ever of late. It gnaws at my very soul and I find myself waking in the middle of the night cold and clammy, to face the reality that it may never come to pass.

I have killed Slicers https://zkillboard.com/kill/48962590/, defeated frigate legends https://zkillboard.com/kill/49699590/ and farmed more non faction frigates than i care to count. Yet my white whale stares blankly at me across the waves, taunting me even now.

Yesterday I saw him again, I gave chase and bitter sweet victory was mine. I cheered with joy as his structure failed but my quest was not to end. My white whale is out there still and the search continues.

Garmur: https://zkillboard.com/kill/50042629/

[Been attempting to kill a properly fit Garmur in an Imicus. I killed one solo for the first time yesterday but he was badly fit thus it does not count. (He was full hp when the fight started the other Tusker on the mail got blobbed by him and his friends 10 mins earlier)]

I opened my eyes slowly, coming out of the short rest that I felt I needed. After rubbing my eyes, I turned my head over to the large screen that was against the wall. Watching it for a few moments, I scanned the news for any tidbits that might have interested me, but was disappointed when nothing interesting came to view. Rubbing my eyes, I sat up on the hard mattress and pivoted so my feet were on the floor.

"I need a drink." I got up and padded over in my bare feet towards where my tea mug and hot water was located. I turned and looked at the floor to ceiling mirror next to me and gazed at the side view of my naked body. Sighing heavily, I reached over and put the teabag into the mug and poured the hot water to let it start steeping for a few minutes.

I turned and looked next to the mirror to see my new outfit, the one I saw in a store back in Rens. It was mostly black and silver, with knee high boots and black skirt. The top, cut in just the way where my cleavage would show, laid over the couch to my left. I took my finger and pushed the teabag into the hot water a few times to steep it faster. After getting dressed, I grabbed the hot mug of tea and sat down on the couch.

I put the mug down on the table and pulled up my watch list, which has grown exponentially since I started doing this unusual line of work. As my fingers flowed over the console, flitting from one watch list group to another, the welcoming green dot showed that a war target was active. I leaned back and gave a chuckle. Now, this was a story.

I was asked to help assist a corporation at war that had just started with another corporation. Now, this was a new situation that I had never come across but decided I was going to help them since they asked nicely. I had put in the paperwork to help assist the corporation who asked but somehow the woman behind the desk got it confused. When I checked back in the next day, she told me that the corporation had not accepted my aid as of yet. But when she gave me the paperwork, it was for the wrong corporation. She put the aid request for the corporation I wanted to fight against. Oh yes, she got a piece of my mind, I tell you...

Later that day, I got an email from the CEO of that corporation, asking why I offered to aid them in the war. I laughed and decided I was going to have a little fun with him and sent him a reply.

http://puu.sh/ljXdr/52d2fe18de.jpg

About a couple of hours after that, they refused my offer and the war started while I was sleeping. Now since I am awake, I decided to find out where this war target was currently located. Now it was a good thing that I was hanging out in Dodixie, my favorite system to be in since it keeps me close to my favorite locater agent, Saonellieu Baerse. Straightening my dress, I sauntered out of the quarters and into the familiar hallway.

Now, since this station was one of the major trading hubs, it was quite large. I tried to get the quarters down the hall from his office but some lame schmuck had taken it the day before. I wanted to wardec the bastard but he was in one of the starting corporations for newbies. I shook my head and continued to where his office was. Upon reaching the door, I quickly fixed my hair and opened the door.

"Oh, welcome Morgan." Came a voice from behind the desk. My gaze fell upon an older man with balding hair and modest clothing on. He definately was not a looker but he was one of the best locater agents I have dealt with.

"Sao, how are you?" I beamed back at him with a smile. I walked over and sat in the chair across from him, crossing my left leg over my right. "I need a favor from you, again."

"You have been going crazy with the wars, haven't you Morgan?" He replied, leaning forward as I nodded. "Tell me who it is this time." I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote my target's name down on it, then slid it over to him. He looked at it for a moment, then placed it down on his desk. "Alright, I will do this for you for 100,000 isk."

My eyebrows raised slightly at the amount. I leaned back in the chair for a moment and pursed my lips.

"Typical fee is 250,000 isk, Sao. Why 100k now?" I looked at him while a smile came across his face.

"Fee is 100,000 isk and a dinner with me." He grinned at me. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but smile. I stood up and straightened my dress as I could feel his gaze upon me.

"It might be more like lunch but very well." I said, turning towards the door. "Send the information to my quarters and when I get back from my mission, you can have your meal with me." I opened the door and walked out as he gave an odd laugh.

I hurried back to my quarters and asked the station crew to retrieve my Stabber from the hangar. As I picked up the mug and took a sip, I heard the distinct ding of Sao's mail. Leaning down, I pressed the button to bring up the message.

"Zoohen? Where in the hell is that?" I mumbled, very confused. I pulled up another screen and noticed that it was about seven jumps from my current location, just inside Amarr space. I placed the mug of tea on the table again and stood up, turning towards my trusty green seed as I saw the Stabber being moved for undocking. I climbed in and put the cruiser through undocking procedures. After a few moments, I was shot out of the station into the midst of all the other capsuleers sitting just outside of station, doing their own thing. I turned the cruiser towards the first stargate and activated warp.

As I landed in the system just before Zoohan, I pulled up the system information and noticed that there were two stations in system. Sao said he located my target in one of the stations so that is where I went first, quickly docking and pulling up the guest manifest. I frowned as I did not see his name on the registry. I requested an immediate undock and was shot out of the station pretty quickly. I went and turned towards the closest asteroid belt and initiated warp as fast as I could.

I knew that time was of the essence, with my war target easily seeing my information in the local provided by beacons placed throughout the system. Upon landing, I was face to face with four local pirates of Amarr. They turned their frigates towards me and started heading in my direction while trying to lock their sensors onto me. On my good days, I would just lock them up and blow up their ship with one volley from my autocannons, but this day I had a mission first and foremost. I turned my Stabber towards the next closest asteroid belt and activated my warp engines.

A flashy red war target Skiff greeted me, with five mining drones under his control on a nearby asteroid. I turned and was quickly in warp disruption range but was unsure that I had the correct ship to engage some Exhumer that could tank a cruiser.

"Damn, well here we go!" I yelled as I released my Valkyre drones and started to unleash my autocannons and rapid light missile launchers upon his shields. I frowned as I saw his shield strength barely dropping as I got closer. His mining drones left the asteroid and then started to fly to his drone bay. I cringed as five Hammerhead medium drones came out to greet me. At that point, he put his own warp disruptor on me as we started to exchange blows. Surprised for just an instant, I turned and started targeting his drones to try to lessen the damage but he expertly drew his drones back and released them. I reached down and pulled the emergency ejector as the hull of my Stabber breached.

Stabber: https://zkillboard.com/kill/50142153/

I turned and warped off to the sun, knowing that he would not follow me. Upon landing, I turned and started a couple of more warps to make a safe spot bookmark so I could go through my head on what happened. I put my head in my hands as I groaned.

"Damn you, Morgan." I growled to myself. "You got your ass handed to you this time, you arrogant *****." I leaned back and closed my eyes, going through the fight and what I did wrong and what he did right. First and foremost, his drones hurt more than they should, going through my shield buffer like it was a hot knife through butter. I should have known better than to rely on a shield buffer in that type of fight. I knew that I would need something with way more tank than what I just subjected him too. I turned my ship back to the stargate I came through and put out in the local message that he gave a good fight.

"I completely forgot that this corporation was at war." He chuckled back, maybe even still mining in the same spot where my cruiser met its brutal end. I seethed with rage as my green seed jumped through the stargate. I turned and immediately docked up in the station in the adjacent system and exited my pod.

"Damn you." I spat, barely holding back the tears that was threatening to flow. The last two wars I had was just a waste of 100 million isk, with no war targets even available for the whole week. That put me in a slight irritable mood that I hoped taking out this war target would rectify.

But it didn't.

I pulled up the customary Reaper that was provided to me and boarded the rookie ship. Normally, I like to fit them up and fly them around and see if I can run basic agent missions in them for stress relief, but this time I was not in the mood. I set in a course for Dodixie and requested the undock procedures.

I sat silent the whole way, brooding over my arrogance that lead to me losing my favorite cruiser, the one that I have had for quite a while. I fought back the tears as I went through my head what I needed to have in order to beat him. As I docked and exited the pod, I got a buzz at the door.

"Go away!" I yelled, pulling up the local market place and began to browse.

"I guess this is not a good time for you, Morgan." A male voice responded, sounding slightly concerned.

"Not a good time, Sao. I will come to you." I snapped, irritated that I was distracted from what I was doing. I stood there for a few moments, listening to his fading footsteps. I heaved out a huge sigh, looking down at the console. I will have to apologize later for that.

"Vexor. That should do it." I said quietly, putting in the order for the modules and ship that I wanted. I informed them that I wanted that ship put together and ready as soon as they could. As the station crew deducted the 35 million isk for my purchases and started working on it, I grabbed the mug of tea and downed it. I wanted to slam that tea mug down but I stopped myself and gingerly placed it on the table.

"Alright Morgan, no more cockiness. Go at this with a level head this time" I said to myself, wrapping my arms around my waist. A few moments later, a ding made me jump as the station crew informed me that the Vexor was ready to depart. I sent them a thank you reply and headed into the green seed and then undocked the dual repair Vexor from station.

For the whole seven stargate jump trip, I concentrated on planning on how to take care of the drones, which I knew was his only source of damage that he could do to me. I mean he was flying the tech two version of what I fly when I am bored and doing some mining: the Procurer. It only has one turret and that is for the strip miner that they use. I also went through drills on other situations, like if he went to the station in system there and refit his Skiff. I growled at myself when I realized he could have fit his ship with some warp core stabilizers, which I did not take into account.

"Well, if I lose this one, then I will call it a night and go get wasted on some cheap alcohol." I said, leaning back in the chair. I usually do not consume alcohol since I prefer being in control of myself at all times, but if I lost the Vexor to a Skiff, then I think I could make an exception.

Within a few minutes, I arrived in Zoohen. I pulled up the local message board and saw that he was still in system. I turned and started warping from belt to belt, ignoring the Amarrian pirate rats who seemed desperate to get my attention. After about the third belt, that same Skiff came into view, and he wasn't alone.

I leaned forward to see my war target's Skiff, and several neutral ships, including an Orca, a Hulk, and a small Venture frigate mining in a different belt than the one I lost my Stabber in. I turned and locked on the Skiff while deploying my Hammerhead medium drones. As I activated my warp disruptor, his medium drones came out. At first I ignored his drones, just throwing everything at him in anger. After a few seconds, I hear the buzz from one of my drones that it was taking damage.

"Morgan!" I snapped at myself. "Get a damn grip of yourself. You can win this." I called my drones back into my own drone bay and released my Warrior light drones. I locked up his drones and then put my stasis webifier on one and put my light drones on them. After the first and second one blew up, the Skiff pilot realized what I was doing and pulled his drones in. For what seemed like forever, we started playing the drone dance between us. I felt a bit more confident when I saw that just the Medium Armor Repairer II repaired almost 25% of my armor per cycle and with the Navy Cap Booster 800s I had in my cargo hold, I could use the medium Auxiliary Armor Repairer if I really needed it. If I ran out of the cap boosters though, I would be in trouble.

We played this game for what seemed to be like an hour. But slowly I whittled him down and took advantage of my blasters with the web to pop his drones. Then, I noticed that he sent his drones more than 15km from where we were battling nose to nose. I looked out my window to see that he had sent his drones to take care of two Amarrian pirate frigates that seemed to decide to join the fight. I smiled when I knew I had the tank but he didn't. I took advantage of his distraction to pull out my Valkyres and put everything I had on his shields. As his drones finished the second pirate, his shield buffer tank started to buckle. He called them back onto me as I brought out my Warrior light drones and started webbing and unleashing eveything I had upon his returning drones. I grinned as I popped one of them and almost got a second one before he pulled them back into the drone bay. I pulled my drones back into my drone bay when I noticed that he only put out three Warrior light drones and no Hammerheads.

"I got this now." I sighed to myself as I started to concentrate on just removing his drones from the field. Once I accomplished that, he was mine. I laughed as his last light drone was destroyed by a blast from my guns. I turned my attention to his shields, which was sitting at around 30%. I pulled the light drones back in and put out my Valkryes and then proceeded to let him have it. After his shield buckled, his armor and structure failed quickly after that.

Skiff: https://zkillboard.com/kill/50142866/

I wasn't really concerned if I got his pod or not so I did attempt a lock upon it. As the countdown from seven seconds started, I sighed and chuckled a bit, then mouth went agape as I landed the lock and disruption. I just sat back and let my Valkyre drones put him down.

Pod: https://zkillboard.com/kill/50142869/

I punched a few buttons on the console and brought up the loot in his wreck. It wasn't anything to write back home about it but it was better than nothing. I transferred what I wanted into my cargo bay and then turned the beast back towards Dodixie, with a smile upon my face. As I started my seven jump trip, I went back over in my head what I did wrong the first time and what I did right the second time. That Skiff pilot must have been cockier than I was, staying in the same system and mining even with me there in system with him again.

But this time, I got the best of him. As I was warping back, I happened to bring up his information again and noticed immediately that he had left that corporation he was just in and joined another one. I could not stop laughing all the way back to Dodixie. That pilot that just left was the best one that my opponent had.

"I think that CEO needs another mail." I snickered as I docked back up in Dodixie. I exited the green seed and headed out of my quarters and towards a familiar office. I didn't even bother knocking as I opened up the door. Saonellieu looked up from his desk at me.

"Now, about this lunch..." I cooed to him as I closed the door behind me.

Its an amazing tool. Some stabber advice. Pack a couple of loads of different ammo types. You could have shredded that skiff with republic fleet emp. Just a thought.

So the faction ammo is that good? I never really saw the reason to use it since it so expensive. I have made very litlte isk (less than 10m) in the five wars I have been in so far but I am having such a blast doing so.

I will look into that. Thanks Noragen.

Good to know.

Question: Have you contacted the people you are at war with in regards to surrender, and if so, were any of them successful? I have been trying that tactic out but so far no takers. Just curious if it does work.

And, it has been bugging me for a while now on why your name is so familiar to me. Just noticed we were in Eve Uni together for about a month back in 2013 when I first started. Now it won't bug me every time I see your name... :)

I've never had much luck getting people to surrender when I was doing wardecs. I think that you have to cultivate a terrifying reputation for that to actually work. In my case I was pretty good at making my targets want to try to kill me, and I used mostly cheap T1 ships to fight with so that I wouldn't look so intimidating and would have better luck getting targets to undock. You might have better luck getting surrender offers if you just out ship them every time and annihilate them in every engagement.

Where I have had some success is threatening to wardec people unless they give me x amount of isk. Sometimes that works. The best thing, though, if you want payment, is when you get something shiny tackled and demand ransom. Getting a corp to pay for surrender is hard but getting a mission bear to pay to save his pride and joy mission battleship is ludicrously easy, if you can catch it. And of course, taking that isk and blowing him up anyway is priceless.

I have actually had three surrenders for a total of 25m. My issue is that I am a softie. I am now in good standings with the last corp I wardecced and they admitted to me that my killboard/corp killboard scared the hell out of them and they basically refused to undock. After they saw me dispatch a Skiff (took 45m to do so but not relevant) of their best pilot, they wanted none of this...

What I have learned is that I love hunting war targets. I enjoy the thrill of searching for them, laying the trap and then springing it on them. But unlike a Merc company, I don't get paid (and never have so far) to do this. It definately has been an isk sink but has been a blast doing so and gathering a fearsome reputation with at least some corporations.

Now I am wondering what direction I should go from this point. I am jealous of the merc companies that get to do this all the time but I dont want to subject my newbro to constant wars. Time for some soul searching...

Alright so this Story, isn't so much of amazing skill, or adept pilots faces insurmountable odds. It more so of a lot of things going wrong, but turning alright in the end.

So I put together a small group of friends that I've been playing EVE with for a about two years now. I wanted to do a small start up lowsec roam with them to welcome them back to the wonders of EVE. We were originally going to go with RLML Rooks but due to one of my buddies not having Recon to a sufficient level he felt comfortable with, we changed plans and went with the Trusty Cane Instead.

The Cane projects well with the dual webs, and since we normally run pwg implants, we could push the fit past it's limits and make it a fairly competent brawler. At least to me it's well enough. I dunno, I dropped out of EFT Class last year so...=P

Regardless,

All of us Dual Box as well. So Along with our three Canes, we were also able to bring along our alts in support roles.

So basically our comp was,

3x 425mm brawler T1 Hurricane's
1x Exequror for reps
1x Stiletto dual point fast tackle
1x Cheetah, for scouting and scanning.

The first part of the roam was fairly dull, We started in a System Afterlife likes to camp that connected closely to old RvB space, but they seemed inactive at this time with only two members in system sleeping inside a POS. We move on, slowly combing through the systems, until we came to a Stationless system called Fuskunen. My alt is the scout, and on D-scan Short I see a small mining gang, an Orca three proc's and an Occator.

I find the Orca sitting in a POS, Lazily giving bonus out, and as I'm trying to find the other ships, the two of the three procurer's land inside the POS shield. They warped in from a site, and check it on D-scan to see if the other Procurer is still there and sure enough he is. I warp my scout in to see him mining.

It seemed like he was afk and the others had spotted us but their friend wasn't paying attention.

Or, It was a very blazingly obvious trap, with the crafty little buggers waiting for us to take the bait so they can drop god know's what on our poor little Canes.

Regardless we decide to play, the Fast tackle warps in grabs point on the lone Procurer. And the rest of the fleet is in hot pursuit.

"User has disconnected" Says a very low grumbly voice.

I stare horrified as one cane, and Exequror vanish from local.

We are already engaging the procurer as a Stratios uncloaks about 20km's away from us. We are about to get dropped then. I kiss the Cane goodbye and call to switch on the Stratios. Didn't really need to tell the only other person in fleet to switch DPS, but we did, I point, and burn in with my Cane, The Stratios should've been faster than my Cane, but I think one the Asteroid's bounced him allowing my lumbering CBC to land it's dual webs. Stopping it in it's tracks. Rep Fleet EMP start hammering into the shield's of the Stratios.

A flash on the screen, Another ship lands on the field, I look at the overview to see...backup...of sorts? Did indeed drop.

The Procurers from the POS have landed.

K.

"User Connected" Said the grumpy voice.

"KURO!" I say quickly, "I don't know what happening but we have a Stratios!"

I fumble to bring him back into fleet but manage to get both toon's into the fleet, and he starts his warp to us. Thank god for Click and drag.

The Stratios was a **** fit, but the kind of **** fit that had the right idea in mind, but was executed in the not-right way. His tank failed under the two canes, Leaving the two proc's alone.

We go to switch back to Proc's, They were obviously bait, and the tanks reflected it as we chipped away. A Cane and Exe land on the field along with another guest to party. Our fast tackle is taking damage from the drones of the two proc's and warps away. but one proc manages to warp away from us as the stilletto had the only point on it.

A Gila lands haphazardly in our clusterfuck of a fight. So I take my point of the proc I was holding to go chase him, the proc gleefully begins his escapes from his doom. As my Cane Barrels down on the Gila. Overheated I landed quickly on him, which again, surprised me as I know the Gila is much faster than Brawling Cane.

So basically I have no idea what was happening. I land point and then webs on the GIla and being to tear into its tank. The other two Canes are right behind me and he begins to melt. The Stiletto comes back on grid just in time to catch the last and lone procurer that hadn't managed to get away yet.

Another flash from a ship exiting warp. Checking the Overview, I see...The procurer which warped away in the ensuing confusing with the Gila as come back.

I really have no Idea what is going on. But the proc is close enough for me to point so I grab it with an overheated point. And the Gila goes pow.

Finally we finally burn the First procurer and the the one who for some reason came back.

Over all. This was a valuable lesson for me; I have no idea what I'm doing or what other people will do.

so i finish my daily patrol of surrounding systems and come back empty handed. arriving in ama i notice a dragoon at a novice.

hmm ok

i do a long 360 of the system now theres two algos a corax and a dragoon in ama.

5 degree scans of other plexes in system are illuminating

these are dessies spread all over the system at different plexes. some at novices some at smalls.

obvious tarp is obvious me thinks

ok.

i report intel on comms but theres hardly anyone on and the few who were didnt give a ****.

this is also ok i have friends else where.

hitting up tikktokk tokkzikk who promtly confirms he will help once i explained the situation

i hop in my hawk and pop a blue pill

off to the algos we go.

as the fight starts i switch d to short 360.

as predicted the rest of the dessies appear on scan.

the fight went rather well, all but one died.

TL;DR - Ready to hunt WT online, found out he left the corp just as CEO logged on, knew where his HQ was so started heading there, on the way used L4 agent to confirm location, jumped into system, jumped into station, confirmed his location in station, undocked and sat 55km off of station, called him out in local with 20m before work, after 15m he responded, undocked in a Megathron while I was in a Wolf, laughed as I told him I didn't have time to shoot at a battleship, he reshipped into a Comet, we fought, he lost Comet and pod, stared at pod kill, gave good fight and promised to take his Megathron on when I had more time, logged off and went to work, laughed the whole commute.

I opened my eyes slowly, sighing as I stretched on the couch in my quarters. I turned my gaze to the large screen in front of the couch to see if any more interesting news came across the screen. I gave a half-assed chuckle to myself as nothing interesting ever comes across that damn screen. I sat up on the couch and stretched again, looking at the time.

"Hmm, I got about 40 minutes until I have to attend that meeting. I wonder who is on at this time..." I said, leaning over and hitting the hologram hovering above the table in front of me. I pulled up the watch list of the two corporations that I was at war with at the same time. The two of them are basically allies and I was hoping to get some experience for my newer corporation members. As of my last war and engagement, I had picked up four new members wanting to learn my 'profession', so to speak.

I pulled up the first one, ABANDON ALL HOPE, and noted that all of them were inactive. With a sigh, I closed their list and pulled up the next one, Avoid High NPC Tax Corporation. As I scanned the list, I noticed that one of them was active. I opened another screen and started to see where my closest Agent was when I heard a ding, noting that I had a message. I moved my hand out to reposition the screen I opened and clicked on the message. A notification popped up, telling me that one of my new corpmates had already taken this particular pilot out just a few hours earlier.

"That is a new capsuleer and he has lost two ships and two pods already. I will be surprised if he is still with that corporation..." I mused to myself, pulling the pilot's information up onto my screen. I shook my head upon seeing that he did indeed leave that corporation. "Ah, so he has taken refuge in The Scope. Good for him. He deserves a better place than that corporation." I leaned over and clicked on the button to remove him from my watch list. "Good luck, rookie."

As I reached out to close the window of the watch list, a ding notified me that someone on my watch list has just gone active. I reached over to back out of the screen when I noticed that it was the CEO of Avoid High NPC Tax Corporation that just went active. I smiled as I stood up.

"Ah, Fonso, I don't need the Agent to know where you are, my friend." I said, climbing into the green seed and closing it behind me. I entered the Wolf, my favorite Assault Frigate, and went through undocking procedures while I plotted the course to his headquarters. The computer responded with the information of seven jumps from my current location. A few moments later, I was shot out of the station and turned towards the first gate. As I entered warp, I pulled up the Agent list anyways just to make sure he wasn't trying to give me the slip.

During our last war, I ended up taking out their best pilot in a Skiff and podding him just to add salt into the wound. After the war, and at Fonso's request, I became their advisor in regards to missioning and capsuleer warfare. I gave them all sorts of advice on ship fits, ideas for nullsec living, and then he floored me by saying that he wanted to take the corporation to lowsec. I told him that only three types of people live in lowsec: faction warfare pilots, pirates, and those hunted by the other two. I strongly advised him not to go there until they were ready, which they clearly were not.

They ignored my advice and experience, deciding to go anyways and lost every ship they took, including one of the newbros losing a Gila there. At that point, I realized that they didn't care about my advice or experience and just cut ties with them, but I did decide that I was going to test them by wardeccing them again to see how they respond to the pressure. Well, that and getting experience for my new corpmates and see how they handle themselves in the process.

I looked over at my screen and noticed that there was a High Agent in the next system. I groaned and rolled my eyes when I saw it was Ansbivand Boe in Madirmilire, the same one that told me never to contact him again.

"Wonderful, he will be estatic to see my ass again." I sneered sarcastically, wanting to just keep going but I needed to make sure he was there I thought he would be. After jumping into Marirmilire, I turned and warped to his station and made a quick dock up. I opened the verbal channel only to his office, saving him from actually having to see me.

"Morgan, I told you that I did not want you to contact me." Ansbivand said, obviously irritated at me.

"Listen, Ansbivand, I pay you to do this. Just take this name and run it, and I will send you 250,000 isk no matter his location." I replied, leaning back in the cockpit chair. I reached up and opened the screen to make the money transfer.

"Name and isk received." He finally said after a few moments. "Wait for results." I reached out and cut the communication off. I sat there, irritated myself but not sure why. If I made him mad, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. Did I snub him by accident? Did I **** in his drink? I sat there and pondered what I did for a few minutes while waiting. The ding of a notification brought me out of my reverie as I reached out and opened his message.

"Alright, he is where I thought he would be." I smiled, signaling to the work crew that I wanted to undock immediately. He was only three more jumps away, so I settled myself into the chair as I was launched from the station. I turned the Wolf towards the next stargate and initiated my warp drive. After a couple of minutes, I landed on the gate leading to Zoohen. Taking a quick breath, I made the jump into the warzone. Upon landing on the other side, I looked to my left and saw him in the local message board. I turned the assault frigate towards the station he was at and warped quickly, only to dock up as fast as I could. After the station crew got me into the station, I pulled up the guest register and saw his name on it. I requested an immediate undock and was pushed out of the station quickly. I activated my microwarp drive to put a bit of distance between myself and the station, then deactivated it and turned around to a complete stop, hanging around 55 kilometers off of the station undock ring. I then pulled up the local message board and moved the screen to in front of me.

Fonso. Undock sir, I wrote into the message board, looking at the time in my capsule, noting I had about 20 minutes until my meeting. I looked back up at the message board and patiently waited for a response. As the minutes passed, my patience started to wear thin more and more as the time allotted here diminished. I growled and pulled up the mail and started writing to him on how sitting on your ass in station wasn't going to make me go away. I had about five minutes left to wait and was almost done with my rant mail when I noticed he responded in the local message board.

Alright, give me a moment and I will undock. My eyes went wide with surprise since in the whole last war he never undocked every time I found him. I closed the message, completely ignoring the fact that I had been writing for almost 10 minutes in my anger-fueled rant. The anger was replaced by excitement at the thought of taking this guy on one on one, but I was also watching the local message board closely since he requested help and Amarr Squad took them up on his offer.

Undocking now. He wrote in the message board. I activated my Damage Control II module and pre-heated my ancillary armor repairer in anticipiation of a good fight. After a few moments, my overview lit up with a red blinky pilot about 54 kilometers from me. My eyes went wide as he undocked in a Megathron, the Gallente battleship. "What in the fu..." I said as I rolled my eyes, watching him turn the huge brick towards me.

Damn you, I don't have time to shoot at that thing! I wrote in the local message board back, very irritated. I looked at the clock and it told me I had four minutes left. If I did have the time, I would have happily engaged his Megathron in my Wolf...but I didn't. I aligned the Wolf towards the stargate I came through, intent on just warping off and heading to my meeting.

Oh, let me get my frigate then. He replied, back in the local message board, completely freezing me in place as I was about to warp from the station. I leaned forward and looked at the message again, making sure I read it right. I looked out to see that he was turning the massive battleship back towards the station undock ring. "Holy..." Was all I could say while I watched the station tractor beams lock onto him and guide the brick back into the station.

"I think I can be a few minutes late." I said to myself, smiling broadly as I moved a bit closer to the station. At about 35 kilometers from the docking ring, my war target then undocked in a Federation Navy Comet. I smiled as he brought out a faction frigate to take on my assault frigate. "Probably blaster fit and armor tanked." I mumbled to myself, getting mentally ready to engage this war target.

He turned and started burning at me around 1000 meters a second. I activated my microwarp drive to surprise him and get on him first. I knew I had range with my autocannons and could have set up my range to just beyond his guns, but then decided to give him a chance and just go into a tight orbit. At about 20 kilometers from me, he activated his warp disruptor to keep me in the fight but I could also dictate speed and range with my microwarp drive if I wanted to. At around 10 kilometers, he activated a web onto me as I turned off my microwarp drive and activated my warp scrambler on him and then started blasting at his shields with my guns.

I struck first as his shields started to melt very quickly under the onslaught of my autocannons. We flew past each other and then my Wolf autocorrected to enter a tight orbit around the Comet. As he got closer, his blasters started to chip away at my shields. But unfortunately for him, his shields were already gone and he was starting to lose armor quickly. By the time my shields were gone and started going to armor, he was into deep structure. As his hull started to breach, I gave a big smile since he finally engaged me and I got the fight I wanted. As a token of respect, I was going to allow him to save his pod.

His Comet finally met its end in explosive goodness. I looked down at my ship statistics and saw I was sitting around seventy percent armor. I had not even activated my ancillary armor repairer, which still sat there pre-heated. I checked the status of my modules and reloaded my autocannons, waiting for him to warp his pod away. As my autocannons finished reloading, I looked up to see that he was still sitting about four kilometers away from me in his pod. I blinked for a couple of moments, surprised to see his pod still sitting there.

"Damn, I gave you like 20 seconds to get out." I half-laughed to myself. I then shrugged and locked onto his pod, scramming it and letting a couple of volleys tear his pod apart. I shook my head and turned the assault frigate towards the stargate and quickly typed into the local message board, since he probably woke up by now inside the station I was outside of.

Good fight. When I have more time, I will happily engage your Megathron next time and bring something bigger to get a good fight. I wrote, engaging my warp drive and pulling up his Comet killmail provided to me by CONCORD. I wasn't impressed much by the fit. It could have been better but only thing I cared about was that he undocked and engaged me. That made me happy. As I jumped out of Zoohen, I then pulled up the pod killmail so I could look at it. I expected either nothing or some basic implants but my mouth dropped when I saw he pretty much had a full set of Slave implants in that head of his, worth just above 570 million isk.

"Damn.." Was all I could say for the rest of my journey to my meeting.
