Clone? Why that's illegal.

We here at Concord would never do anything illegal!

You cheat ... you make the rules ....................

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Like they always did and always will. Big smile

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

I was just making a cup of coffee, and this image occurred to me of an intrepid ISD winning his (or her) way on a cold winter's morning before the sun was peeking over the horizon...frosty breath hanging in the air, stopping before a door, searching through his (or her) pocket for a large ring of keys, and with heavily-mittened hand flipping through key after key until finding the "right" one.

Unlocking the door, he (or she) enters a dimly-lit room heated by a pot-bellied, coal-fired stove, and ritualistically removes the mittens, a large thick scarf, a generous woolen cap and a quite, quite heavy coat, briefly warms his (or her) hands by the stove, then makes his (or her) way to a desk where sits a computer terminal.

He (or she) shakes the mouse to wake the screen, clicks his (or her) way through a software application and upon finding the appropriate page clicks a button which shuts down EVE Online. He (or she) counts to ten by saying, "One one thousand, two one thousand..." and upon reaching ten (one thousand), clicks again to reboot EVE Online.

He (or she) then re-dons the coat, the cap, the scarf, the mittens, shuffles to the door to exit, pauses to insert that same key from that same ring into that same lock to tightly secure that door once again. Then, he (or she) shuffles his (or her) way back up the misty, dimly-lit street, to a home where a soon to be jolly Christmas tree, and a snoozing family await the rising of the ...

SUN! YES!

However, upon reflection I can't help but feel it's just my imagination, and things don't really happen this way. Do they?

No it is just fantasy.. the ISDs dont have "families", they are hermits that log in all the time to the Eve forums and do fiendish things to us here.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.
