I'm really pissed by people who use ingame names for Movie or TV spoilers. I find it unacceptable if people use this game to spoil the fun of other people outside of this game.

I think this behaviour should be banned by the EULA.

Some examples being?

I personally have yet to come by so called spoilers which I did not know already or quite frankly cared about. The latter being the vast majority of said spoilers people could show me by whatever means.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

That's nice that you don't care. But you are not a representation of all the different people playing this game. So your opinion honestly means less than nothing.

Its one thing to play an asshat in game...but lets keep the real world out of our asshattery.

I heard that people actually did get banned for that sort of behavior, as in not just copying a character name but naming a character or corp with a huge spoiler and forcing others to read it somehow.
So report if you think someone is doing that.

Good luck with that. When I was a clueless newbie I reported a ton of characters with "****" in their names. The GM answer was along the lines of "We're looking into this problem, now derp off". A couple years later I did that simple search again and most of those characters were still intact. And you want them to rename/ban people for movie spoilers? Lol

Sorely tempted to just spoil the whole damn movie on here, just for your whining.

Get over it, yeesh. It's a freaking movie, not the moon landing. (spoiler, they make it, but Apollo 13 isn't so lucky)

Having just seen the ISD blow up a spoiler thread in about 30 seconds before I could report it..... They are taking a pretty hard line on spoilers. I believe the EULA covers it under real world harassment of people when you do it simply to ruin their day.
So yea...... Don't post spoilers unreasonably. If you label the thread 'Star wars spoilers; discussion of movie' and intend it for people who have seen the movie to talk inside, then obviously it's someones fault for reading the spoilers. But if you label it 'Luke & Leia are related' that's quite different.

I didn't really care if that spoiler was correct or not, but that thread was stupid.
