Operatiom Frostline CCP Hilarious

Hi CCP, Thanks for operation frostline. Supposed to be this big deal where things were stolen and we go and get them back. 57 sites ran in wormholes, and I get clothes/quafe if that's all that was taken then this event was way overhyped. Bloodraider event was awesome. The accelerators were great. Operation frostline is a bust. Basically you get a t-shirt and a drink which would be cool if the drink got me drunk but it doesn't 😠.

Totally agree.

The amount of time invested compared to the reward has been disheartening.

Blood raider event I felt as though I was accomplishing something positive for my character.

Frostline? Yea, I feel like more and more of an idiot with every one I do.

when you run a successful event and then hype up another event and when people try it and say you know what I'm better off just doing my normal day to day operations then it is a little disappointing. What is the point of doing something like that if people see the site and say you know what I'm not going to run it and just move on. Sounds like there are some potential big drops, I've heard of officer loot, multiple character certs, Plex, hardwire implants. I can't confirm any of that, best I've seen is a vindicator bpc.

Seriously? The rng gods must hate you. I ran like 10 sites in highsec, got absolutely nothing special, then the moment I went into a wormhole got a frigate drone chip and a 4% medium hybrid damage implant. First 2 sites I ran.

No I'm not entitled, CCP put out an event, hyped it up, and then doing the sites is an utter let down. CCP set the bar and expectations not me.

Bring back the Yule Lads! At least they were entertaining and it was exciting logging each day to find out what cheezy gifts they had in store for us (more Fedos!). "Sansha Clause" would've been better...

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Yeah, RNG hates you. I've only ran ONE site and I got a PLEX, other people have gotten GTC's and dual char training time cards as well as expensive implants.

was it hyped? well they wrote a whole dev blog on it and mentioned it a few other times.

that said with some of the drops that are possible you have to go low on the RNG, and that can result in a whole lot of nothing special. With the BR event most sites had loot, but with this one you can (supposedly) get a plex, and that is worth a bunch of the BR accelerators.

Even for someone like me, I'd probably get a plex faster via my domi grinding L4s. Too much competition in high, too much activity in the null region nearby for my liking.
