Mass-Test on Singularity, Thursday 19th November @ 17:00 EVE-Time

Hi!
We are planning the first mass test for the December release on Singularity on Thursday, November 19th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:
Test Steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ at X-BV98 gate
  • Jump to X-BV98 (cross-node)
  • Align to POS beacon
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Activate any of the following modules you have fitted:
    • ECCM (any)
    ECM Burst
    Sensor Booster
    Tracking Computer
    Stasis Webifier
  • Fleet 1: Warp to Poitot gate and hold
  • Fleet 2: Warp to Poitot gate, both fleets take gate
  • Align to F67E-Q gate
  • Fleet 1: Jump to F67E-Q and setup gate camp (cross node)
  • Fleet 2: Jump to F67E-Q + fight at the gate

Please fit ECCM, Sensor Booster, Tracking Computer, Stasis Webifier and/or ECM Burst modules if you can. Note that use of the ECM Burst outside of the designated test step will be considered a breach of the test server rules.

What else should I know?
  • Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
  • Bring many different ships, but preferably fleet ships.
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

Any chance the wiki page could be updated to state connecting to sisi via mac os x requires the new beta launcher?

As of this date and time, using the wiki instructions results in the following:


  1. launcher updates to 2.2.978970 (vs tranquility's at 2.2.967872)
  2. launcher ui states (incorrectly) it is connecting to tranquility
  3. eve build remains at 1.3.10.980995
  4. connection to sisi fails with error "Incompatible (Release)"


Using the beta launcher there are no issues (sans IGB)

    Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

    I think basically it just means not things like industrials, shuttles, mining barges, etc.

    "Preferably" means everything can be used, just that the user might have a suboptimal time in a non-fleet combat ship.

    Well i'll wait a month or two.
    Meta is kinda 'sclerosed' specially in LowSec and FW.
    I had hopes that T2 Logi frigs would limit that by indirectly buffing AFs, and thought CCP were aware of it.

    Really want to participate in this but having issue everything Eve online is having issues connection , the website is really slow and the launcher wont update. while my internet is blazing at 350 mbs down , upload 22 upload, im not on wifi . im having no issue with any other game or anything that uses internet. This seems to be the same issue I had the other day . this has to be on eve end? any advise? I really want to participate thanks.

    No connection issues on our end that we are aware of. Check out this article for assistance though https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/202130582-Could-not-connect-to-the-specified-address

    If that's not the issue you're having, there are a few others on Zendesk that are similar, hope you find the one you need.

    Might I just thank whoever it was who not only blew my ship up, but then so considerately podded me, thus ending my participation. I can only presume that he/she/it/they will now also accrue the 2M SPs since I can think of no better reason.

    This Toon and Surper Power both had their graphic drivers crash upon entering F6. Not sure what caused this issue weather it was my fault or the games.
