A) We have plans for the Rorqual, but we're still looking into their technical feasibility. We will release details about the Rorqual soon.

Thank you for this. I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting the Rorqual changes.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Q) Will carriers be completely barred from capital remote rep usage, or will it remain as a less powerful choice through adjustments/removal of base stats and bonuses? #1 #2
A) The current design has them completely removed. The specifics havn't been determined.

So what actually happens to Remote Cap Reps/energy transfers already fitted to a (super)carrier?

I'm betting they will stay on the ship until you unfit them. They just probably won't work.

Hey Larrikin, two quick questions on dreads & caps:

1: at Vegas, there was talk of giving dreads a small ship maintenance hangar, since that was what drove most new cap pilots into carriers first. Are there any thoughts on the size of this bay currently (similar to orca, smaller, larger)?

2: is there any possibility of giving caps the ability to jump via suns as previously mentioned, possibly paired with some structure/module damage for making an "emergency jump"?

Two questions more questions for this list:

1) Is there any chance of keeping the ability to fit remote capacitor transfers, but not the armour reps? While the need to power remote reps will be disappearing, the ability to quickly cap up after jumping while keeping a combat fit would potentially be compromised. Additionally, given the difference in effectiveness between armour and shield passive hardeners, removing the ability for fleet-wide anti-neut capacity to maintain capacitor levels on what the enemy is currently shooting at has potential to skew the meta between armour and shield by virtue of game design. Is the introduction of capital neuts really a good time to severely curtail their counter gameplay? Making neuting more effective while making capacitor 'repair' more difficult seems something which should receive considerable thought.

2. I saw your reply to my earlier question about the state of blap dreads (thanks for taking the time to reply to my plethora of questions btw) regarding more freedom to tweak their guns; is there any possibility of keeping the option for current blap dreads alive as a scripted siege module or something which would affect only the high angle guns? Putting such a script in lets you tweak statistics to your heart's content while not eliminating the option for a high-investment, high-dps platform which requires significant support. Such a role would be distinct from what we see with high angle guns, and could easily avoid stepping on the toes of whatever alterations seem necessary for anti-capital guns.

How many arty nags do we have to field to volley a FAX?

A vague number would be enough.

1. Will be there a skill split to Carriers and FAX?

2. Do you consider remapping base hull bonus on carriers ( when you exclude remote rep bonus).
If yes , do you consider the ability for players to change carrier skill? (for example, only to max out fighter DPS i skilled thanny to lvl 5, while keeping rest carriers on lvl 4) I know that this is a lot to ask.

3. The remap of capitals make many fits obsolete. We can change basic fitting , but all isk we spent to fit expensive rigs will be mostly lost. Can we get ability to recover rigs? We are talking about total remap of this ship class. Maybe it can be solved automatically by moving fitted rigs to cargo on all capitals during the patch. Old rigs need to be resized , as many capitals have still large rigs.

4. Have you considered creating pirate faction fighters?

5. Do you plan fixing wreck EHP? When i kill a (super)capital fleet i want the ability to take all things from the wrecks.

I specifically asked this at Vegas because the CFC leadership was spreading this rumor on Slack prior to vegas

FAX machine are Capitals and can be built anywhere

When asking about the glaring hole in the slide where a SC FAX machine would go, I got a snicker and a no comment

Ummm ok again. Maybe I'm reading this wrong.

But how did you, part of PL, know about FAX's... and also how did the CFC know.. about faxes, as they were spreading it on slack? Specifically the CFC leadership....

Prior to Vegas?

Just curious.

It would be a very interesting concept to link ewar resistance to sensor strength, giving eccm modules more dynamic function instead of just having it as a seperate entity that only benifits caps.

The skill question is huge. Many people are holding off on training carriers and remapping waiting to see exactly what CCP intends to do to keep all the triage and ratting carrier pilots happy. The sooner it is answered the better. Also, this would be the one time it would be extremely beneficial for CCP to release any new skills well before the ships so game play is not interrupted.

Q) With the removal of ewar immunity, will remote assistance be possible?#1
A) I assume you mean for Triage and Siege? No.

This was in reference to supercaps; currently they are both ewar immune and can't receive things like remote tracking or sensor boosts. Will remote assistance be possible for these ships with ewar resistance, and if so will it be reduced?

While I think EWAR resistance in general is another cheap gimmick, supers being affected by webs will be a massive stealth buff to supercap mobility. There's going to have to be something tacked on there to compensate.

Supers can already warp in a single MWD cycle with existing 500mn MWDs. Additionally, there will be a 'Web Resistance' attribute on supers/titans.

What about freighters?

Given the changes being made to fighters, in order to introduce squadrons; Is this an idea you plan to carry over to sub-cap drones?

With the changes coming to ewar on capitals, do you also plan to change Marauders to ewar resistance, or will they remain ewar immune in bastion? (please say they're staying immune)

This is a huge question.

I would like to hear the reasoning behind removing siege/triage EWAR immunity. Currently, entering siege/truage requires you to make some big tradeoffs since you can't receive remote assistance of any kind, nor can you move. Since we already make these tradeoffs to gain EWAR immunity as well as big damage/remote/local rep bonuses, why do you feel it is necessary to remove the EWAR immunity too?

Your attempt to trap someone into admitting to knowing about leaked information is cute, but wholly unnecessary. I already explained how this could be. The leak was broadcasted to basically everyone who spoke English at the time. It would have been rarer not to have heard about it, honestly.

Well, manny got ejected from CSM for allegedly leaking something. I am not going to get into it.

I will tell you that I learned about Capital changes in their entirety a week before Vegas from a Goon on Slack, and there were no less than 4 CCP devs talking in the channel, so they knew.

I have no knowledge how that person found out, nor do I care
