it seems pretty much fine to me. sure there are a few little kinks, like the move box/arrows not showing up unless you press shift/alt/whatever, and turning the actually scanner probes off on the map it seems pretty decent.

that said I haven't scanned much in years so I'm not relearning stuff

As someone whose primary specialty is scanning, I have had no problems with the changes and you are bad if you can't use them.
