had some issues with the standard sleeper cache. I failed the first hack so naturally it said the hyperfluct would self destruct in 2 mins and I quickly successfully hacked it and then I got a message saying it will detonate in 30 seconds even tho I hacked it correctly. Also when I activated the high power calibration device (which worked fine btw) i got close to the impentrable storage depots and it did not reveal itself ..

I have already logged a ticket for the following problem:

I have 3 accounts of which 2 have no issues and the 3rd I cannot log into due to the character selection screen not showing up. I did not have this problem until today when I tried to log in after maintenance 2015.11.04 the log shows the following:

Same, submitted a support ticket over 24 hours ago and no reply. I'm sure everyone's little problems with the new features are really annoying and game breaking but I just have a black screen!

Same here, at least let us into the game to have a chance to complain about the other stuff!!!

Same, would love to be able to at least try out the new features....

Same problem for me! Well 2 days ago I was not able to log in one of my accounts. Yesterday it was ok. And today I can't log in one of the acounts (the other one)! Seriously what is this?!

And no dev give a single comment on this issue for several days? SERIOUSLY??!?!?!! Dudes, you have a queue of people who can't even start the game! DO SOMETHING! At least give us feedback you are working on this issue and when we can expect the fix!

This is really frustrating!

Edit #1: No, clear the cache doesn't help.

Edit #2: Info for others having this issue:
- I've got responce to my support ticket. Seems the problem with black screen at login relates to bugged skill training queue.
- Got compensation in a form of skill points for bugged training in one account (thanks CCP!).
- The second account although remains bugged, got this commnent from devs:
Quote:
...it is possible that the problem will resolve itself automatically when you next skill finishes training.

So as I understand it maybe problem is related to actual skill training and may be resolved after your queue finished actual skill training and starts another skill in a line. Bad news for me its approx. 2 days of waiting.
Will update you if any news...

Edit #3:
Confirmed, the problem is fixed after the current skill training finished (was sooner then I've expected). I can log in again, yay! P

Hi

I'm returning to play after 2 month of pause and may have forgotten, but my muscle memory tells me that there should be right click menu pop-up in the old system map when I click in empty space. Has it been taken away?

Thanks

information warfare link - electronic superiority II gives bad boosts, or calculates skills / implants wrong

It is not inlcuding 25% from the imp navy mindling.
It shows 27.6 % ecm and TP bonus when it should be 34.5% - fitted on damnation, all relevant skills lvl5 nad imp navy mindling.

in the end it gives 77% tp bonus on huggin /i.e/ instead of 81%

FIX?
maybe?
like.. soon??

the launcher is now back again to taking up to 7 or 8 minutes to check the shared resource cache. Absolute joke the way that every major patch you screw this up.

So far I am seeing worse lag than before the patch... Does the new hardware need to cache everything before the performance improves?

It has nothing to do with the launcher! only with serverload, your connection and the processing speed of your computer. Since it is checking over 65000 files you should consider to defragment at least the affected area if the files are NOT on an SSD or look for any other real source of your problem instead of blaming the launcher. My launcher was done checking after 3 minutes and 11 seconds (just tested it). Not always is CCP the cause of a problem :P

I don't think I've ever been able to right click on the old solar system scanning map. I would try frequently because that's how I normally access bookmarks.

Even fresh spawned Combat Exploration sites (DED x of 10) in Gallente space are out of any NPC's and all gates are unlocked. Six sites tested so far after emergency reboot

UPDATE: Done Sites (non DED ones) are fine
UPDATE 2 (14:14 Gametime): Found first Serpentis Combat signature with NPC's inside, but it is not a DED one, so still 6 broken DED ones right after emergency downtime as a result

Update 3 (14:19 Gametime): first DED with locked gates and NPC's inside since the emergency downtime, had 2 of the same type in a empty state before. Problem seems to be gone then

Clearing your cache would solve your problem and using the search function on the forums or reading the posts in this thread would provide you that answer

Patch 1.3, during download, stops at 9.9MB with a super long message that stars with:

"Exception during UpdaterModule.Update
Traceback (most recent call last):"

Can't update. Everytime I try to run the launcher to update, it will start the download, but it will stop at 9.9MB downloaded and give me this error.

PS: I cleared the cache and started over, finished the download but it crashed when applying update patch. Error message about the same:

"Exception during UpdaterModule.Update
Traceback (most recent call last):"

Well in my case clearing the cache had no effect at all. Still it is worth of a try tho.

Hi Devs,

So the saga of the fitting screen continues.

imgur album linky

Picture 1 - Me parking my Onyx to board a Helios, and getting a warning that I don't have enough grid to activate a large shield extender.
The game log:
[ 2015.11.05 14:40:51 ] (info) To bring Large Shield Extender II online requires 160.00 power units, but only 151.91 of the 1071.91 units that your power core produces are still available.
This is odd, because I've just swapped my Onyx for a Helios - so I'm wondering, "Why am I getting powergrid notifications for a ship I just left? Maybe I'll reboard it and check."

Picture 2 - Me reboarding my Onyx, and getting a warning that I now don't have enough grid to run the Medium Neut.
Game log:
[ 2015.11.05 14:42:32 ] (info) To bring Medium Diminishing Power System Drain I online requires 175.00 power units, but only 166.91 of the 1071.91 units that your power core produces are still available.
This is odd, because a minute earlier I was told the LSE wasn't powered, but it looks like it might be after all. I better check the fitting screen.

Picture 3 - My fitting screen, which firstly revealed the Neut was offline, the LSE was online, but the Neut could be onlined. Then I noticed the wiredness.
On the fitting screen, my missile launchers appear to be unloaded. But on my display, they are fully loaded.

Picture 4 - This is me after relogging, and reopening the fitting window. It now appears that all my modules have disappeared from the fitting window, but as you can see, they are still active on the HUD.

Picture 5 - I closed the fitting window, and tried to mouse over the module activation button. There "should" be a tool tip in this screen shot. There is no tool tip.

Picture 6 - This is after I warped off to a safe, jet canned some ammo, and managed to activate the launcher and destroy the can. This picture is me right clicking the Missile launcher to reload ammo. No reload dialogue box has appeared.

After all this, and deciding to try some common bug fixes, I left the game with all clients and cleared my game cache from the Launcher. (Note, this was all after today's patch and emergency reboot.)

My launcher will now not let me enter a username; it has a the wee blue spinning status icon; and the client status bar is all grey. I am able to log into the game using the bin folder exefile.exe.

So, I think there are three issues here:
1) There's a problem associated with fitting when you board ships at a Ship Maintenance Array.
2) There's a serious bug affecting the fitting window, module tool tips, and the module right click interface.
3) At the present, clearing cache may well crash the launcher.

I'm off to run eve repair - will update when I have.

I have. There was a small fix patch down loaded, but this has had no effect on the launcher problem. It still does nothing, and eventually my OS gives a process time out warning.
