If level 5s are a goal, you should research passive shield tanking. It's not really used much elsewhere but is the way to go in the level 5 missions that subcaps are used in.

If your weapons do not use capacitor you become completely Immune to neuting.

A svipul can run everything up to 4/10 without even sweating anywhere in highsec, it can also run c1/c2 anoms. If wormholes are something for you, you can always put a probe launcher and a salvager on one and go for sleeperloot+nanoribbons.

Level 5's are only available in low sec so you'll probably want to run them in fleet with cheapish ships.

If you are into that kind of things and don't mind fuxoring your high sec standings I would guess that pirate missions in null sec would be better isk. That is a guess however, a slightly educated one but still a guess.

As far as shield Marauder goes back when you could do level 5's in high sec bastion modules did not yet exist so I can't comment on that directly but I am fairly certain that you could solo a level 5 in a bastioned Marauder given no PvP. Keep in mind that is a general statement and each mission but be looked at individually. Shield tank is not good for EM damage and some of the level 5's neut pretty hard.
