The steps to fozzie sov are as follows:

1) Put entosis link (aka jesus laser/sov wand) on a ship

2) Fly to station/ihub/tcu and activate sov wand

3) Nodes spawn randomly throughout the constellation for the structure you reinforced after 24 hours

4) Turn on your sov wand on 20 different nodes and watch a green spinny thing count down from 1 hour - 20 mins depending on things

5) After you have green spinny thinged 20 nodes you win the structure

Review: It pretty much sucks.

Not today spaghetti.

Fozziesov is the greatest change in EvE's history and anyone who disagrees is simply demonstrating his inability to adapt and overcome to new challenges.

Sov map would seem to disagree with you.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

Biggest problem with that sovsystem is that you don't need to invest in sov in a meaningfull way. Sure you loose some ISK should your upgrades be destroyed but that is a laughable amount old sov took something way more valuebel either very expensive ships or a lot of time and manpower.

If you can't easily outnumber your enemy 4:1 it's curently more viable to just wait for the enemy to go away or move yourself. If we want there to be conflicts over sov we need something worth fighting for. Citadels might be a good way to go but as long as we have outposts and npc stations in null to base out off there is no reason to put them in harms way.

Sov must be something that will hurt if you loose it not something a bored person can get back in 2 days.

Biggest problem is the **** is stupid. I trained all these skills to sit and watch a green spinny thing. At least station smashing had damage notifications and killmails.

I tried that on YAO.... I just went poof. Ergo your suggestion is not fool proof.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Biggest problem of fozzie sov is that is BORING.250 ppl fleet goes out...20 ppl run around chasing noddes while 200+ is sitting under titan or POS waiting and doing nothing. But they must be there in case of enemy show up.So they sitting and doing nothing and nothing and nothing...get it?
I have a feeling our game developers dont even play this game or their analitic is childish. They are just changing it so they could say in end of month to their boss they are done something. In my expirience as relative new player who played it for 6 months its downgraded with fun.No wars anymore no big battles .Titans turned into jump bridges, etc. But lets stay on the subject.Ppl are just quitting from game cos claim and wars become BORING..

I`ve played Lineage 2 for 6 years and developers chaged it so much that they made me quit bcos its not that game that i loved to play anymore.I just hope you will not make the same mistake....

I don't recall Dominion sov warfare being exactly superfuntimesgalore, although the risk was still substantially greater once the supers landed onfield.
This is a different kind of weaponised boredom with Denying The Enemy Fights still a key strategy. Meanwhile, the enemy is out popping your iHubs and resetting ADM indexes and generally cursing the inhabitants for not coming to defend their stuff.

So "Cycle your launchers" vs "do NOTHING...or be sure to be listening on comms while you are tabbed out playing Warships".

I'll take "Cycle your launchers" over that anyday.

Have you been on a fleet where we actually had to entosis things? At least gunfire is therapeutic.

Now I don't really care whether it's entosis or shooting. But... %^%*%^*@ vulnerability "window" mechanics can ^*&^&* my ^&(&*( and go to ^*(&$^#(&$*(#,

Not getting a fight in fozzie sov is not the product of fozzie sov.

It's the product of risk-averse sov owners afraid to attempt a fight when they're not assured certain victory.

No amount of game mechanics other than forced ejections from pos's and stations while under an entosis link is ever going to completely fix this game's broken, scared community.

At least with fozzie sov a fight tends to get initiated by an attacking force in sub-caps, what the majority of eve is capable of fielding. Prior, it was always large ships and above which sadly, most people can't pilot and aren't willing to risk as frequently as subcaps.

This is not about getting a fight/not getting a fight...Its about what you do when you are not getting a fight...sitting 2h while someone is chasing nodes and etnosing or all will shoot the damn thing till reinforce and go home that will be considerable more effective and atleast you will not alt/tab with something to kill the time....

And yea this community is neither broken or scared its bored with new sov system....
Next time when we go for a claim i will write you so you can come and enjoy it with us...:D

Sure, if you chose to wage sovereign war in frigates.

Cutting grass with a pair of scissors isn't fun either.
