Missions and the Faction standings

Just wondering what the eve lore is behind being able to bribe concord to re-gain standings after harming/attempting to harm another player, but with missions if you shot to many NPC's of the wrong faction 8 years later and your still buggered this is until you biomass your character or grind so many Level ones for the story lines that you tear your eyes out.

Would it be possible for dog tags to be used to alter standings
e.g.
Sansha Nation dislikes (because hate is a strong word) the amarr empire so you give the sansha nation an amarr empire tag to increase the standings by .5 but by doing this it also lowers your amarr empire standings.
Another option is to just do as you do with concord and sacrifice a tag to the gods and have them magically repent your sins

You see out here we have friends and these friends can help us blitz the level 4s they have access to.

Or just get your standings up with a corp that has level 1 up to level 4 I missions and get standings up that way

Or you can run SOE

Or you can join a fw corp

Over all I would rather remove the ability to buy any standings them add in more ways to avoid consequences for your choices

Well, how about you would have paid more attention to what you do in the first place? I learned pretty quickly to stop taking Anti-Minmatar missions from Amarr agents. One day, I wondered what happens if I drop too low into the negatives and asked a corp member in Hedion University back then. He told me that I would not be able to enter Minmatar HS anymore without having their police hunting me like an Angel pirate. I stopped killing Minmatar at -4.8 and continued happily ever after with hunting Sansha and Angel. I also ran some L1 Minmatar missions to get storylines and up my standing with them a bit, but gave up on that as I did not need to have fabulous standings, and I realized that Gallente storylines give more Minmatar standing anyways.

You should have done the same. If you or anyone do not do that and ignore warnings or do not think about their actions, they deserve to suffer the L1 grind and every 3 months the SOE arc. Period.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Train Diplomacy to 4 and run the SOE epic arc, choosing the proper faction at the right time, and you're back to being able to fly freely in highsec. I went from -10.0 standing with Caldari to being able to sit off the undock in Jita in just a couple days.

At Op, basically CCP decided it wasn't fun for people to have to grind Sec status back up after being a (primarily lowsec I believe was their aim) pirate.
They have only recently made the sec status change so at some stage may do the change to allow you to buy out negative faction standings also.

Also ignore the naysayers who bleat about 'consequences'. This is a game, and some elements should be about 'game' and enabling you to play, not punishing you for months of grinding.

But it's a game about consequences

Ive never run missions in high sec nor been hunted like an angel pirate, even tho that sounds fun. but i did do 1 week of incursions so now i am no longer accepted as a servant of the sansha nation so have been banished from speaking to senior ranking agents

this is true, then why let us bribe concord which most people would view as the police in eve but not the gangs and mafia of the pirate factions

This post wasn't intended to be a ***** (female dog) about how big, bad and mean eve is which a few people have taken it as but more of a query as to why you can do A and not B
