At the time, banning an account was beyond the scope of what we considered reasonable based on the tournament rules as they were. This may not remain true in the future.

Real justice would be to have the constituent corps and members of Warlords of the Deep have their assets seized and their accounts banned. Any plex and subscription forfeited for such an egregious violation of the TOS. We know they are all guilty, and instead of coming clean they tried to assassinate the characters of others.

Is it really appropriate for them to be in the game anymore?

It's time for Mining Industry Exile Foundation and Maladapted Tribe to be purged.

You've pretty much established 1 year for the first offense, lifetime ban for the second offense. I'd say that's a perfectly reasonable amount of deterrence.
