...because it is awfully annoying waiting for pilots to manually jump at a gate, after warping there. Oops

I have a feeling the game mechanics might not allow it, but I think it would be cool to have! Bear

Err...

You do realise that CCP want us to do more of our own flying, not less, right?

Nope.

Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Next someone would ask for a 'hit F1' option on the fleet menu.

People should fly their own ships.

Woo! CSM XI!

Firstly you really need better fleet members not a way round their incompetence and secondly what is so cool about being lumbered with doing someone else's flying?

Next thing you know you'll end up wanting to be able to lock their targets and shoot their guns for them.

Not supported.

Next time, just leave them. Repeat until irritation stops.

This. Won't take long for the dead weight in your fleet to end up back at base via pod express. The plus side is, they only have themselves to blame, and if you keep track of where the fights actually happened, you can deny them any SRP.

Kindly explain yourself, rather than just trotting out inane one-liners. To be honest, one would expect more than this from one in an elected position of responsibility.

Sure, I disagree with any method that would hand full control over to one person for an entire fleet. Active players need to be there, inactive need to be left behind. The ability to drag folks through a trail of tears is, in my opinion, bad.

Out of curiousity would you also favour a 'fleet lock' button that allows the FC to force all in fleet to lock a specific target?
A fleet fire button would be the logical follow up to that. FC pushes the big red button and alpha goes through the roof.

Slipppery slope, straw man, all of the above but the basic objection is that I fly my ship, you fly yours. I was and am in favour of even curtailing the fleet warp and even more so the fleet jump.

Hey, can i have the possibility to pilot my whole fleet through the fleet menu?

Because yes, that's exactly where that kind of proposal is headed. To the wonderful land of "Fckn' drones everywhere"..

(In case irony Pirate was not subtle enough, that's a -1.)

While we're at it can we remove fleet warp on the same principle as not wanting fleet jump? Fleet warp is dumb & I am being completely serious.

Well, of course not, but you have to make the rubberstamp committee feel good and meaningful, right? It's the Christian thing to do Lol

Yeah I remember that as one of the things where my reaction was "I can't believe someone at CCP wants to implement that dumb idea I had once ages ago". The thing is the more I think about it the more positives I can see about it.
