1. SP. I have an alt with 5 weeks of SP, hell of a lot of fun. There is no "hurtle", this seems just a stealth whine thread for all the "newbie needs more SP at start" junk.
2. Don't need multiple accounts to have fun in EVE.
3. Don't care about PLEX at all. I suggest you just "start looking for other ones" now. PLEX will hit 2bil, guaranteed.

I'm in it for the money

In agreement with this overall. One mans cup of tea many not be anothers.. Eve is built around multiple ways of having fun and its up to the player to choose. I'm interested in the OPs idea about what constitutes his minimum.. but its just a point of curiosity.. I have my own idea about what is fun in the game, otherwise I wouldn't be back re-subbing.

1) You are having a knee jerk reaction. I said that after a certain SP basis your opportunities start to multiply in ways that were not efficiently feasible before. I did not say that you cant have fun on the first day. Do you now see the difference between what I said, and what you imagine?

2) I never said you need multiple accounts to have fun in EVE. Again an imaginary reading. I said that 2 accounts can double your fun, and quadratically increase your opportunities when they synergise.

3) -Do you sub?
- I explicitly said that I play the game with a focus so as to remain ingame, with ingame means. Thats my thing. Deal with it.
- I will adapt. PLEX rises have prompted me to try other activities.
-Ive already said in many other threads that I myself also anticipate a continous ride in PLEX prices. You aint telling me anything new.

Really, some people have trouble reading what is actually said, rather than what they imagine has been said.
Its getting so bad that there is almost no point in communicating in a written format at all anymore.

I dont know if its lack of education, or just extreme selfishness, but whats the point in written communication if you DONT READ WHAT IS THERE instead of IMAGINING IT.

Back in the day, people used to write wonderful, vibrant letters to each other, using language creatively and eloquently as a shared and concensus tool to communicate with someone far away from them. The purpose was to bridge the gap of distance, so that you could be understood, and understand, each other, even though you arent there across from them in person. In the early internet even, there was fantastic prose and people still remembered that the only way we can communicate in writing, is by writing and READING accurately and specifically.

Wasted argument on my side anyways. As exactly because of what I outlined above, you wont read this accurately either, but rather with your own incipient imagination, complete with prejudices, assumptions and implications that did not and do not exist in the other persons concrete expression of themselves.

Nope, I just don't agree with your opinions. Not in all things, but here, no. Such as:
"Now I can start enjoying some degree of more reward compared to my effort output, with greater efficiency.
Its not such a goddam arduous uphill struggle for a pittance. Its still difficult, but not nearly as effort/reward innefficient."

You start at that point, but I say it starts on day 1. That's my opinion, first day or first week or first month, fun already started, rewards from effort are already there, already happened. In the scheme of things, it doesn't really ever change; you may set your own goal the first week for the first month, and when you reach that goal that is your own reward. Same as a second year vet, doing the same thing, setting goals and reaching them, though it usually just takes longer by that point.

EVE is different as it has no real end-game. Endgame for EVE starts on day one, and it doesn't really change all that much from the first month. I still love flying t1 frigs I flew the first week in this game, I just fly them better now, in that the game really never changed or improved, only by my personal point of view. And in ways, flying those t1 frigs the first week was more challenging, which for some means more fun. That's just touching back on point one, I read your thread post before posting no matter what you claim, I still disagree with it, but just touching back on this as it's the most important and don't want it diluted with arguments on the other stuff. Single topic threads are more engaging and honest than multi-topic threads.
