I keep having an issue where it automatically changes the character it is using from my imported character to the All 5 character. Is there a way to prevent this, or if not is there a way to remove the all 0 and all 5 characters so it has no other option but to use my character?

if you go into the character editor, click the profile for all 5 and click the X i believe should delete it.

Are there any reasons why certain module/ship prices refuse to update? Or is there anything I can do within the program to fix it?

I've tried resetting the price cache, to no avail.

Thanks.

After upgrading today to the latest build very few of the prices are updated. Also tried to reset the price cache but didnt help me either.

Is there any way to force it other than cache reset?

I just downgraded to the 1.13.0 Stable - Aegis version and Pyfa gets prices correctly as it used to.

Edit: my rig is running Win 7 64-bit that is up-to-date patched.

Didn't work for me. I get access denied errors trying to go back to 1.13.0, even after a full uninstall and deletion of the .pyfa folder in Users.

Seems on mine, EFT is broken for the same prices too. How strange.

I tried to upgrade to the last Version with wx3 using the Archive, and doing a drag & drop on the old files, replacing them. I get the following error at launch :

http://i.imgur.com/U3jc4c5.png

D:\games\pyfa is where I installed pyfa, and there is no C:\Users\Ryan folder on my computer :)

I then tried to install the non wx3 version, I got this trace in the log file :

http://pastebin.com/ezhP14xX

Tried a full install by keeping only the saveddata folder, worked !

How do you go about projecting bonused modules onto fits?

Such as projecting Keres bonused damps onto other ships.

Drag the Keres fitting from the ship browser onto the current fits projected effect's tab.

I still prefer Pyfa but there's one thing i don't like. There's no group function for favourite modules like in EFT only 'recently used modules'

Please can we get this option in so i can start using pyfa again

First of all, thank you for this awesome program.
i found it more complete respect ETF.

That's said, can i suggest you a feature?
When you have your ship full equipped it would be nice to know the cap when only certain modules are active.
Right now it show the total cap amount (positive or negative, and it tell you the time left on the cap.)

I mean: i'm in a data site's ship with certain modules fitted --> i get ganked --> i'll shut down the data analyzer and turn on other modules to defend myself.

right now the program take in considerations the cap needed for all the modules. The only way around to know the real cap when i'm defendig myself is to unfit the modules that will be shut down (in this case the data analyzer).
A "right click" option --> "Shut down this module" would be a nice feature in my opinion.

Thanks for your hard work and sorry for my english.

Not sure if you you guys are aware of a bug I'm encountering, but here goes.

If you use a non-ordinary character (I'm assuming anything not alpha-numeric such as "♣" which is made by pressing Alt+Num5) in the name of a fit, Pyfa will not recognize it and will get stuck in an infinite loop of some kind. Removing the offending character seems to fix the problem but I would like to see the program be able to recognize them again, because at one point it did.

First off, kudos on an outstanding bit of software. And the continuous improvements are awesome as well!!

Feature Request: Overheated module time.

Neocom for iOS shows the projected life for overheated modules and their neighbors. It would be outstanding to be able to see this in Pyfa. If there's already a way to see this and I'm just missing it, please point me in the right direction.

I need someone competent enough to write heat sim which is not just accurate, but also efficient. I lack experience in this area. Details on how to do calculations accurate can be found here. I haven't checked Neocom code though, so can't say if it has decent heat sim/model.

Niepel, please make ticket at github repo and share your saveddata.db somehow (dropbox, any kind of file hosting). Blitzmann will take a look at it.

here a feature request: it would be nice to be able to select prefit clones with all their implants per ship instead of fitting a clone for each of your fitting.

how i thought it could work from the user perspective:
- add pod to the ship list so you can create pod fittings
- now for all your other fittings you would see a dropdown menu under the implants tab where you can select which pod you want to use for that ship fitting

thanks for pyfa i use it a lot and it is very reliable. Having a tool with SISI data before the TQ release to test new stats is awesome.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

if you look at the module, see where the check mark is next to it? if you click that, it'll turn the module off. you can even offline rigs/passive modules without having to remove them from the fit. active modules you'll have to take off the fit for example MWD's to remove the cap penalty if you say offline it or burn it out.
