No it isn't, except that it counts as -1.0 for the purpose of belt rat spawns. So there is a better chance of special spawns - hauler spawns, faction and officer rats, and the belt spawns generally are better quality.

Back when belt ratting was the primary income source in 0.0, this was kind of a big deal. Now, not so much - as a general (but not universal) rule for ISK making purposes, you're better off being best cuddlechums with the pirate faction and running level IVs for them.

-1.0 is WormHole space, which has no NPC owned space.

There are some other space in which NPC activity is shared by other faction pirates than the NPC owning the general Region.
That is listed on dotlan.net or .org...

One is the Serpentis being in Gurista space and so on...
Some of those NPC pirate faction also are associated with other NPC Pirate faction as well.

For example, the Angel Cartel are associated with another Pirate faction.

That is incorrect. Some NPC space is considered -1 sec for the purposes of belt ratting, but not all of it.

As Malcanis said, belt ratting isn't as profitable these days due to nerfs to hauler and officer spawns so that sought after -1 space isn't as valuable as it used to be.

At the moment I belt rat in a -0.1 system the loot is ok. I have spent lots of time belt ratting in a -0.2 system and the loot is much better, I get lots more internal force field arrays for example and other expensive named modules. Belt ratting is my main source of income as I have spent most of my game alone and I think that it is less risk.

I have also noticed the spawns are better and in a few instances I've seen 3 true sansha spawns appear in succession in a -0.3 system.

-1.0 are still very good systems for the purpose of loot & special spawns when one does belt ratting. A few years ago ratting in SOV I got the best officer spawn possible with loot worth 6 billion isk.

In Stain NPC 0.0 you will generally find all of the systems that are -0.20 and above (-0.21 to -0.37) are inhabited by larger corps/alliances that have the ability to defend it. These guys really do benefit from more special spawns and can easily generate billions in 1 day ratting belts with a well organised team of 4 or 5 guys.

Lots of people say belt ratting isn't profitable, I strongly disagree. Find a bigger corp that lives in an -0.37 NPC Stain system and you will earn lots.

I remember your experiment, years ago, to try and bring people to this NPC station (it might indeed have been in Stain), whereby you gouged them appallingly for basic goods once they were there.

I think this was you, but if it wasn't, shame on you anyway because that was a pretty lame (or pretty cool) thing to do

Basic goods were hard to come by in those days, I remember before carriers I used to bring billions worth in blueprints in a cov-ops..risk and reward my friend.

AFAIK it's only the pirate NPC, so sisters or thukker space doesn't count.
