Yep.

Tools exist in game now to haul cargo in (relative) safety. No change needed, thread pointless.

That's called a Nereus. Or a Combat Iteron V. Or a fleet of combat haulers. Or bait Crane/Prorator/Impel/Bustard.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Ehm no?
As mentioned before, if you want your hauler to be combative, then fly a combat site with expanded cargo mods in the lows.

Or suitcase carrier, for that matter...

I like the idea of an Armed Merchant Cruiser (AMC).

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Which is different from the combat industrials already mentioned in this very thread because...?

No difference, really (except perhaps in name). I think the ability to covertly arm industrials would be a welcome addition to the game, except perhaps to those that have become accustomed to preying on them with little resistance. I'm not sure if the 'Reaver' module would exactly be the way to go, but the idea has some merit in premise.

yay, its stealth q ship thread that links to another steatlh q ship thread.

in before the double isd lock for double redundancy.

Also remember the only people who would use these would be gankers. To be undercover before they strike.

When people haul they haul. When they fight they fight. If gankers have put any effort into the setup....even a combat ship is dying. this in case you missed the memo...is how mission runners, exploration site runners, wh'ers, and ratters die. They have guns, they have drones....yet still they die. This why I love my ninjya trasnport. Spec'd for speed and agilty. You have to catch it to kill it. Best way to not be a target is to gtfo as fast as you possibly can.

https://zkillboard.com/kill/48138452/ Might i direct your attention to the 3rd from the top... He would have finished it solo if a procurer wasnt able to kite a Bustard:)

We got a little pissed when the Procurer started kiting the bait with it higher base movement speed, so we deployed the vigilant to keep her in range... the Oracle was just there to finish it when they wouldnt fight us...
