Like shouting "FIRE ZE MISSILES" and that activates F1 for example. I'm guessing for obvious reasons you are not allowed to use the macro feature.

Most people, with their inherent bias when they see that word, will stop reading right there. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with voice activated commands for games. Yeah so long as it isn't automation it should be fine, similar to the fancy keyboards :P

Voice command software isn't new.

The main problem with it is that it's usually considerably slower to activate a module by voice than it is to just hit a hotkey. There's also the potential for it to misfire, especially after a few refreshing beverages.

It has its place, helping those who have serious difficulty using a mouse and a keyboard.

Sometimes it would screw up and come up with interesting results. Bring back DEEEEP Space!
