Immersive NPC and Capsuleer Environment

I read a lot of times where Capsuleers either Run Missions, PVE or PVP. Although engrossing this type of environment is not really that fulfilling. I suggest a Which Way Do You Go type of environment. Which Way Do You Go is an idea taken from a book that I read as a youngster where the storyline would progress to a point and then you would have to make a decision on what the next course of action would be that would then result in another section of the story being told.

How this would play out is random encounter agents would approach a Capsuleer anywhere in space or send them an e-mail enlisting their services for any type of mission. The outcome of the mission would have an effect on a single solar system, or larger in space.

For example : You are approached by an NPC agent who wants you to transport some cargo through space for her. After scanning the cargo and find it is not illegal you agree. You transport the cargo to the designated area of drop-off, collect your payment and then go about your business as normal.

Come to find out a few months later that the cargo shipment was in fact components that went into the destruction of a station in null space. The station owner after finding out who transported the cargo enlists the services of Capsuleer Mercenary Forces to hunt you down to exact vengeance. In the process you are approached by another agent needing your services that you gladly except to get yourself out of the combat zone. While providing services for the agent she explains that her Alliance needs pilots like yourself to transport goods to a lone outpost deep in null. Once isolated the alliance tells you of their fight against the alliance that enlisted the Capsuleer Mercs. The next thing you know you are attacking conveys and isolated enemy installations where the Merc Corp that was hired to gun you then tracks you to the system you are planning on attacking to defend the assets of the alliance that enlisted them.

This type of scenario would be similar to how Faction Warfare is operated that once a mission has been accepted the sites would open up to both sides. When a site has been captured it would add loyalty points to the corporation that enlisted your services as well as ISK.

Depending on where the Mission Sites take place would determine system variances such as market prices, asteroid yields, ect. which would then be determined based on the level of threat that the site is to system.

Once the overall mission had been completed by either side a small monument would be erected with those who were the victors scribed on the monument for the future ages to read as well as a small description of what took place.

Capsuleers on both sides however could enlist the help of other Capsuleers in the mission as well.

Welcome to Eve, where we write our own story lines.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Oh, look.

Oddly enough, this redundant thread is quite redundant, and has been reported for redundantly breaking Rule 17.

while i can applaud your intent, it doesnt fit into into eve's culture very well.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.
