I'm happy to wait, as long as whatever broke, is fixed properly to prevent another rash of downtime. If my scan probes are working in wormhole space when we get back up, I'm good.

Unscheduled downtime is way worse than forgetting to put ammo in your weapons before a fight...

What kind of operation are you guys running here? Spring-loaded booby-trapped software ??

Strange .... no roll-back concepts, testing systems not doing their jobs ... What should I think? I agree that sometimes in IT you might have very complicated issues, but not having concepts allowing to insure the "production" - this I don't understand.

As you’re all aware, Tranquility is still offline after today’s scheduled daily downtime.

This is due to an issue that happened during a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.

Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and we’re hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

Right now, we don’t have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but we’ll keep you updated in this thread.

The community requires the sacrifice of one of the devs...it will be a dev of your choosing and every single eve player will be credited with this dev's killmail. I think that's fair right ?
