It would take them longer to roll back the changes and organise a roll back patch than it would to just fix the issue.

But hey let's do it! And get them to put you as the reason why they did it and caused another 8-10hrs of DT while they get that ready :D

Used to happen every single patch back in the day.

The joke about 'Make sure you put a long skill in queue on patch day' was 100% legit.

Haven't had this length of downtime in years though.
