So is this a software error or a wetware issue? Since software is written by a wetware user doesn't that mean its a wetware error? So does CCP have any DEV to fix the wetware user errors?

Any returning real life corps recruiting, it has been a while since I have played real life and am in need of a mentor.. I probably have to patch wife and kids, not sure though, any advice appreciated Shocked

Some people here seem not to understand how these things happen.
Clearly, this is the work of the Arctic Kraken, Arisen from the Great Deeps of the icy black sea, its great tentacles have smashed the great fortress that is the Server Basement, and writhing, crushing, gripping, have stolen the venerable Tranquility Server.
The brave and valiant Server Defenders of CCP have sallied forth in their Space Longboats, wielding spear, axe, gedit, grep, IDLE, and other venerable weapons, to chase down and Kill the Kraken, as is Tradition.
We must stay here, awaiting their triumphant Return, returning the Server to its rightful place, that we will be able to finally receive a Blessed Connection.

To all the whinges, moaners and bitches bitching. consider - there's people in real life committed to staying up all hours of the night to fix the issue, just cause it's impacting your game play no need to be rude and obnoxious.

  • plan out what your character is going to do for the next 12 - 24 months.
  • best of all, write an article that can and will enhance the game play of EvE for new players, or go to eve universities wiki and see if you can add more content to there posts, by enriching the existing content that there is already.


Don't be afraid step out of your comfort zone and put pen to paper and see what knowledge you can share at this time.

Put that spent up energy to good use rather than turning it into negative emotions.

Like I posted before...if CCP was an American company, old IT team would have been fired 8 hours ago and a new team working on the problem would have a viable solution already, provided the company was willing to pay top notch pay...remember guys that the average salary of a CCP employee does not encourage that employee to work as hard, hence the pizza, and the pissed off costumers.



That might be the dumbest post on here today. Every operation has so many proprietary components there is no way they would fire everyone in the midst of a crisis and bring in a new team. They would certainly draw on any resources needed to resolve the problem, but the inquisition starts after the problem has been resolved.
