Aren't those poor Dev's and Techs paid to provide a game that we the user base pay for?

TQ being down due to poor testing or some mistake in implementing the patch does not earn the Devs/techs pity.


Testing on SISI is a completely different world completely. Less players on it plus the fact that it's an old mirror could hide a problem that will only show full scale when released onto TQ.... At least were getting updates for the first 6 years I spent gaming I had no internet so if a game was buggy then I had to deal with it no updates.. Good luck to the dev's !

CCP - Just gonna say, any half decent software developer would have rolled back the god awful patch you've obviously not tested properly way before the near 9 hour mark to bring services back online.

I'm aware this is a game but end of the day it's still a service your clients have paid for. Any other service provider with this kind of QA / issue resolution wouldn't be surprised when droves of people quit.

Guess making backups before rolling out patches isn't in your run books / standard procedures.
