What I would settle for, is when you have changed the camera source to your target, have it linger for just a second or two longer after the target assplodes.

100s (1000s?) of EVE kills have been recorded, figure it out. prosper.

yw.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

Hey here is a thought. Did you know that you have the power, I mean YOU HAVE THE POWER TO DO THIS already and it does not affect my client download times for a feature I simply don't give a damn about. And yes client download times are an issue for many of us that live FAR outside the closest city and we are stuck with crappy slow internet connections.

Simply load up one of god only knows how many video recording programs there are out there and have it waiting patiently in the back ground. Just before you press that "watch the kill shot" button tab out and start the recorder. But wait there is MORE, many of those programs allow you to assign a hot key so no tabbing is required. But wait there is still more, many of them even have a display window that is set to always be on top so you can always see what you are recording. But wait there is still more, most of these record your entire screen since they are smart enough to remove themselves from the video. Can't be bothered to start and stop it then simply start it before you load your client and let it record the full glory of the battle iiinstead of that dull boring kill shot at the end.

OK all jesting aside. I am concerned about how this feature would impact client download times, and how it would affect the client for those of us that do not care about this and would never use it. On another note people have been asking for in game video recording capability for the entire 5 plus years I have been in the game and we still do no have it so finding a workable solution that you can use now is a more productive option in that you will have those kill shot videos.

And in the closing thoughts I find myself in THAT group, you know the ones that always says use the search function. Posts about in game video recording comes up every few weeks.

I was thinking of a save button that collected data for the CCP render engine https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5456007 rather than using 3rd party software

But I guess if you all think it will cause too much overhead for the server....
