CCP finds this thread and the drinking game (which they are all now playing) far too entertaining and have decided to stop working on the problem until this thread starts to bore them. Please stop being interesting and funny.

Given how painless all the other updates have been, this is the kind of patch chaos we have been ducking for quite some time.

But Sov is such a HUGE part of the game, I would have been impressed if it DIDN'T have major glitches.

Well, no one else made any ISK either...so you are exactly where you were in relation to the entire community. I hope this makes you feel better.


What some not realize, is those that have a limited amount of play time and need to plex their accounts to be able to play Eve, for some its just an incovenience, for others it really hurts. So all because it may not effect you all that much not mean its not hurting others a lot. So all the OMG Tears or well no one else is making ISK atm, is kind of a ignorant statement, it will effect everyone in different ways.

So, forgive me if I've missed something, but let me check i have this right.

CCP bring down Eve at the usual DT and take the opportunity to fix a few bugs and presumably these bugs weren't real show-stoppers, as they wouldn't have waiting until DT before trying to fix them otherwise.

Eve fails to start up after DT and fair enough CCP try to fix the problems.

After several hours, said problems have still yet to be fixed, which prompts the question, why don't CCP just restore the software to how it was before they applied the fixes at DT?

It apparently can't be this easy, but i do tend to look for obvious solutions, when i am being deprived of EVE time. :)
