As some what of a technical expert I think I can offer some excellent insight into the issue, after extensive investigation I've narrowed it down to 2 possible theories ...

Somebody used an Entosis Link by mistake on the CCP Hamster and turned it to the dark site, the devs are now running around Reykjavík like crazy trying to find a suitable replacement. Or ...

Fozzie is secretly a Drifter in disguise and their plan is finally coming together!!

I'ts not this simple. You can test a small project with 5 people on it and still get unpredictqble results at deploy. Those things do happen rather often. But you talk about giant project with propably hundreds of developers. This is completely different scale, which you can't probably even imagine. It's complex.

Thousands of things can go wrong and years old bug existing in the system may surface just because someone changed something related to something ...

As you’re all aware, Tranquility is still offline after today’s scheduled daily downtime.

This is due to an issue with a code deployment today while patching for a few fixes in EVE Online. The issue caused the cluster to fail to start up correctly, and as such, Tranquility is currently unavailable for play for both EVE and DUST.

Our operations and development team are working on this issue as we speak, and we’re hoping to have Tranquility back online for you guys as soon as possible.

Right now, we don’t have an ETA for when the cluster will be back online and accepting connections, but we’ll keep you updated in this thread.

Question is didn't you test this on Singularity server before uploading to Tranquility ?
