In all fairness to CCP, before today I did not know there existed a third server status in the Eve Launcher as (UNKNOWN)... most befitting isnt it?

STATUS = UNKNOWN

PROBLEM = UNKNOWN

CCP has been doing pretty well on most patch days and this hasn't happened in a while.

Are they mad!?!?!?!? No wonder they need a daily downtime. They really do need to reboot their servers every day. Dayum.

I seriously thought everyone was sensible enough to at least put there servers on a solid OS (some form of UNIX) but apparently I was wrong...

No wonder they can't roll back. They might need to reinstall their OSs to fix this. Did microsoft issue one of their "unstoppable" patches yesterday?


i run game servers on windows 2008 r2 and have 0 issues. Runs for weeks without restarts. Your Microsoftphobia is a bit misplaced i think.



hmmm, 2008R2 is fine, but 2008 is not supported anymore (mainstream anyways) as of january 2015.
Calling Microsoft won't help anymore
any MSCE 2008 out there to help them out?
