[FW] Farmers und Hoarders

Problem description:
Currently on a Kill: get LP depending on worth of kill. more would be exploitable. amount as is, is very tiny.
Currently for getting rid of a WarpStabbedFarmer: get nearly nothing. disincentify nearly nothing.
Ventures and stabbs are allowed into complexes. This is a disincentive for a healthy pvp environment.

Disclaimer:
I let ccp decide if an idea is doable or not. they know the code and their time better than me.
Although this idea might have been suggested before, it needs a solution.

Post something, if you have an idea.



my humble Solution:
On a kill, get a percentage of the enemy's LP from his journal. (i.e. 5%)
example: X encouters Y, who is flying a stabbed merlin. X kills it with your tripplescram frigate. Y has 900.000LP in Wallet. X gets 900k*0.05 = 45.000LP payout for the kill. Y has now 855.000LP.
==effects==> ???
You might get a better actual guess on LP/ISK. .... or more tank and blueballing than before.
But MAYBE flying unfitted ships will disappear. idk

Ideas are like Seeds. I'd chop fullgrown trees to start a fire.

People will just take their alt to the exchange station more often to unload all LP into items.

It would make "direct LP trading" a thing with rookieships... allowing people to move large chunks of LP around when the market tanks for one factions's items.

If anything, this would actually make farming worse as your have removed a major restriction for farmers (that LP only applies to one faction... so you have a stake in what happens to that faction).

hmm ok. Lets make it ineffective with 5% LP loss in the militia the victim is in. Additionaly only 3% (maybe TierLVL) LP gain for the militia the killer is in.

Exactly. But how often is the flight worth it? How high has the stack to be? Surely they dont go after every Plex, as it is time consuming.
So then after two plexes there is 20.000LP*3%=600LP. Seems like raising the percentage to 50%/30% or something isnt so harmful at all.

So you say that if i have farm much LP and have about 10 Mio and you catch me my stealthbomber you would get 500k LP for a easy kill. Sounds a bit much.

Second of all e.g. i have two players one in amarr fw and one in minmatar fw. So the Minis are at lv 4 the LP--> ISK is low about 700 ISK/LP. Otherwise the Amarr LP are worth much more about 1300 ISK/LP. Now i buy cheap ships shoot those with my amarr character and make my 700 IKS-LP to 1300 ISK-LP. Sounds nice i want it.

But to be honest for shooting a Stealthbomber 5% of my LP is way to much. No thx.


Second of all if you want to fight and the other person don“t want to fight you, he will find a way. He can use the d-scanner or a cloaky alt. I would be okay to make the rats stronger but that would make it harder for new players to join fw.

good now I can move all the easy minm LP from 51 day accounts to a main one with out having to worry about the account going inactive.

what ifffff, the longer you are there, the higher the chance for an infini-point rat to spawn?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Rat damage scales with how many stabs you have. Flat amount, ignores resists.

Hmmm, maybe make it impossible for non-milita pilots to enter the plexes.
thats probably the reason some if not all farmers always fit for stabs.....

they cant be bothere with fighting against a non-militia target and there are more of those in FW space than militia pilots tbh.

no bearing in anything close to safety, I counter that warp stabs be nulled in FW complexes, or increase sig by 100% per stab.

Use the force without consent and the court wont acquit you even if you are a card carryin', robe wearin' Jedi.

Then you use ships with no fit at all and D-plex so you don't ahve to kill the rats. Your pod cost you nothing and your naked ship cost you close to nothing. Meanwhile, some tards come back to the forum butt mad because they keep killing only afk naked ships.
