I know when the full "fozzie-sov" goes live, it was mentioned that the SBU BPO's were going to be removed, however I'd like to request that the BPO's and items not be removed. These items, while they will become obsolete, serve as part of Eve's history.

From the blog post it states that owners of these BPO's will be compensated, however you can't really compensate time and effort put into those BPO's.

I would like to request that these remain in-game, and not removed. Take them off the market as a seed-able BPO, but let those who own the BPO keep them; much like the mine BPO's.

As a collector, it does bother me that an item that I worked on will go -poof- since I worked at also putting the time into research it. I'm sure I'm not alone with other fellow collectors not wanting to see items that they have collected over time just go away.

In this case I'm more than happy to take the cash over any historical value thanks.

If you want to keep history , CCP could put some SBU on gates somewhere like monuments without having garbage in the database.

I'd rather keep the. BPO to be honest, I put a lot of time into it to just have it removed. I take pride in my collection and all the time I have put into it. Eve is a game that's all about time, sure they can give us the money back, how are they going to reimburse you for all the time you put into that blueprint? They can't.

This isn't something I'm alone in, there are a lot of other players that are collector's as well, take Entity for instance, I feel him as well when items he's worked hard to get and put time into getting them for them to just dissapear.

Dont get me wrong, I'm all about changes, games evolve and change, which is good, but I'd like to retain that history. If not, them why do we still have the mine BPOs (I have put a lot of isk aquiring the 2 Mine BPOs that I have as well). They are out there but they just aren't seeded anymore, which is fine, they can do the same with these as well, just take them off the market as a seedable item.

How about the BPO holders get reimbursed, and also find something waiting in their redeem queue, like we got for hull tanking certificates?

why remove the SBUs? Let them in game as historical item but unanchorable anywhere.

I still do not want these to go away after putting actual time and work into them. I don't need the 250mil back, I just want to keep the BPO that I take pride in my collection. Please keep it in-game. <3

yep, leave the BPOs ingame, allow players still to build them for whatever reason they like but solely remove their anchorability in space. Why not?

IIRC when CCP has removed things in the past they sometimes put up NPC buy orders to buy them back, but didn't force you to sell them. Why could these not be done this way as well? Yes, researched BPO's not being sellable, but I'm sure that shouldn't be too hard to make them all sell at default price? Is CCP reimbursing them for their ME/PE levels as it stands? If not I don't see why having them all be able to be repackaged so they could be sold would be a problem.

This and change the BPO description (if not already done) so it state they are useless. I know it's stupid but just that is like 300 whine thread about them being dodged. There would still be 300 others but that's less than the total 600 without that change.
