Thanks for the work put into this program.

It seems my current version does not have the Entosis links. The download file says 2.30. I went back and checked an older version which did have the Entosis links but the jackdaw and the module updates (prop and tank) were not there.

I went back to the old version of EFT but the Entosis link seems to have disappeared from there as well. I then built a fit with an Entosis link using Osmium. I imported the fit to EFT and the module seems to be recognized and working correctly in the fitting window. But when I try to "Open module group" the modules do not appear in the fitting panel. However it did open the fitting panel to where the modules are supposed to be. There is a "Entosis Links" catagory in the "Scanning Equipment" section, but the module is not showing up.

Think i have found a bug with capital rigs, the capital core defense capacitor safeguard rigs don't seem to affect anything but capital shield boosters, even though they do affect any size in game.

It's a pretty niche use rig but i swear it used to show it affecting all boosters....

Could you have a look and fix it if it is a bug please?

New version is available with Aegis changes preview (except heavy missile damage increase which can be simulated with 5% hardwiring implant if needed).

You need to fit the module for price to update.


That's strange and I have no idea how it could be possible (unless you didn't noticed and selected to show only faction modules or something like that). Only thing I could suggest is trying a clean separate copy of EFT.


You don't need a full fit - you can just open an empty one. And I can't see how opening it is slower than typing numbers in. So I don't think it's worth doubling functionality and complicating the UI for this.

If you have the mod active on the attacking ship it will be automatically accounted for in the dps graph. If you drag it into the "projected effects" of the target ship the effect will apply twice.

Question about stacking penalty.

The EFT version I have doesn't have the new Drone Damage Amplifier numbers, so I decided to calculate the impact of the change myself. I used the stacking penalty formula from EVE uni Wiki http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Stacking_penalties

S(u) = e^(-(u / 2.67)2) where u=n-1, where n=module number.

So I set up a ship without any drone bonus to make things simple, I add a bouncer drone, and 3 Drone damage amplifier II. When calculating the damage of the drone without the DDAs, or with 1 DDA my calculations and EFT show the same. However when I add 2 or more modules, EFT shows higher damage than my calculations. I have compared my results with the eve uni wiki, and the table there and my calculations seem to be correct according to the previously stated formula.

On a myrmidon fit I was looking at I end up with a 30 DPS difference (only modules affecting drone damage is DDA).

How does EFT calculate stacking penalty? So far my results indicate that EFT doesn't penalize the modules as much as the formula states.
