the power of a ISD

out of curiosity I wonder a few thinks about the power of a ISD.

I try to sell a toon on the eve bazaar forums. now one of the ISD's locked my post becausse of ecsasive bumping. now I try to find out why he thinks it's acsesive as in my onnest opinion I responded to a post of a possible buyer.

So I send a eve mail to the specific ISD but they never seem to answer those eve mails and I really like to know what I did wrong so I can learn from it.

So 2 questions is there a way to contact a ISD, and can you fellow forum readers help me out on how to prevent a lock on my forum post.

In the link he posted Falcon states that commenting on whether or not the character is worth the price offerred is not Ok, thats exactly what you did so your thread was locked.

I think they are going to lock this thread since if you read "DA RULES" discussing moderation is against the rules. If you got a problem petition it. Otherwise I will be here to relentlessly mock you.

This is what the ISD powers are.

You're actually running against CCL (forum moderators), and their definition of "excessive" is very literal: the Bazaar forum rules say that you are allowed 1 reply per 24 hr period, regardless of what it says, so "excessive" = if you post 2 replies that is excessive.

You cannot have a forum conversation in Character Bazaar, even if it's legitimate questions and answers about the sale. Make 1 post, answer all the questions so far, then wait 24 hrs to make another post / answer more questions. "Bump" and legitimate answers are all counted as "bump" for each 24 hr period.

The issue is that there are so many character sales that there are 5-7 pages of threads every 24 hours, and they are really sensitive about how often you bring your particular post back to the front page, compared to everyone else. So the rules are the rules, and they're trying to keep the bumping fair for everyone.

Also, just follow the rules and nothing gets locked. Your best bet for communicating with someone whose character you're trying to buy is to just mail them. Hope that helps!
