To attempt to help answer an earlier question, I usually would see battleship spawns in low sec belts, often one system after another. Unfortunately, I couldn't say about null sec, but just to give a general answer, battleship spawns are still there.

(Someone had asked, but their thread was trolled heavily for some reason. )

regarding battleship rats , they do spawn both lowsec and nullsec asteroid belts. in nullsec ocassionally they are spawning also on stargates, stations and even can find them at pos. so sometimes pos gunner can have some work :)

highsec belt rats rare'ly "camp" stargates or stations but at longer observation noticed them to sometimes camp near simela sivela apanake hek and surrounding systems seen them in other regions aswell . they camp from 0.5 to 0.7 systems mainly 2 - 4 frigates.
lowsec belt rat gatecamps contain from 1 to - 4 frigates or two frigates two cruisers
nullsec belt rat gatecamps contain from 2 frigate and 4 cruiser up to 3 battleships 3 cruisers 1 frigate. amount of rats is random just be careful on elite type frigates that webs/cram sometimes they assist the battleship rats .

Amak Boma is very correct.

Altho, Hisecks has very special kind of station/gate rat - Drifter Battleships and I heart they drop Pithum A-Type Adaptive Invulnerability Fields because of strong shield tank.

Has anyone ever destroyed Drifter Battleship?

Given carriers have been lost to them.

Bait drifters to pos.
Use pos guns to kill them.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

I have seen battleship rats in anoms in nulsec, they're a little tough to kill but doable, it helps to have a second ship(alt) or another corpmate to assist in case you get really low in hull, been there done it.
