That felt good.

Got scammed in a x-mas trade -giveaway scam 2 years ago.
That did not feel good.

Ergo, if I give away stuff it will not be through "transparent" FIFA executives.

if I was given free isk at the start I think I would have become bored, it was trying to earn money and skilling up that kept me interested, along with times where I was struggling and would receive help from a player I might have met in game.

The help was when I was trying to save up for a retriever and someone I had met came out with a can and mined with me to fill it up for me to sell I thought that was great and it showed me how just the slightest bit of interaction can make Eve real fun.

Like I said, the bottleneck is the part where this looks like a complete scam, and like I said, I'm going to try and find a way to give evidential proof where the ISK is going. Players on their own can distribute it but the idea here is that it's coming from people wanting to quit the game for good. They won't have the time to equally split ISK and redistribute it to a bunch of noobs. The idea here is that with a massive contribution of many players willing to help for this project, from there I can redistribute it over a wider span of players.

You can't prove it. You can only come up with ways to make it look believable, but you can not prove it.
And it sounds like a great way to launder ISK from Royal Mushroom Tentacles as well.

Yeah, but so is being able to buy ISK via PLEX. So is the SRP of most of the large alliances. So is purchasing a character that is skilled far beyond your ability to use it.

But there you go.

Might as well be giving handouts to random newbies. It's not going to matter in the least compared to the other ways people can buy their way into advanced gameplay without actually working for it. At the end of the day, all of the above are contributing to shortening the life of the game, in my opinion.

See, whenever I ask for donations I usually get them simply because I am present
and people know who the **** I am, no matter the character.

So if you want this to honestly be a thing, which I in all honesty doubt,
then the first thing you need to do is stopping asking for ISK.

Instead you have a non-fictional list of TOP DONATORS 2015 in your bio,
or the bio of the char that is most present in a system.

Presence means that people notice you, which means you need to talk.

You can talk about anything, really, even the topic itself,
as long as you do not ask anyone for ISK !

It is fine to mention in a sidenote that you are running low,
but ONLY if you are actually running low ! Greed is noticable !


The better your presence, the better the influx of money.


The only real difference between our cases is that people give me money
so I keep shooting things and they get something back in for of killmails.


So what you need to figure out is content that is related to you giving noobs ISK.


While writing that last sentence already two scenarios popped into my mind.
