Allow us to like ISD posts locking threads

When a thread is locked, all the like buttons in it die. I propose that forum based ISDs get the affection they deserve for dealing with so much of our brainmelting trolling, brainabsent stupidity and generally seeing all the crap here without getting to post to tell people they are being stupid, just that they are breaking the rules. Just leave the like button on the post locking the thread live.

I mean, what do we pay those ISD guys for anyways other then for smart and witty remarks when they show their all powerful selves?

ive wanted to not only like some lock posts by ISD's, but also like some posts by players in locked posts.

Based on many of my posts, I think it already is an "I agree" button for many people, while being a popularity contest button for others.

The best ISD story i have seen so far is that in the "buying skillpoints" thread all the posts i made telling the ISD that the thread was crap and reporting it for redundant got LIKED BY EVERY ISD person:)

They seemed to agree with me...

And by the time you're as bittervet about the F&I forum as baboli and me you are very glad that ISDMAN solved the next BS thread

Actually, there is a way to report ISDs to CCP if you think they broke any conduct or overstepped their bounds. F12 in game, Support ticket -> Rules and Policies -> Game Master & ISD.

I find I consistently need to use this feature for improperly handled threads. The only way to make the forums what you want it to be is to continue to give feedback via report functions.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices

Opposite direction from what I want. I actively like and support most of how the ISDs function, and have gotten into appropriate contact with them when I wanted either a thread of mine unlocked (a few times) or permission to kill a thread and reopen it (once) or thought they had overstepped (three or four times). This is about giving them the sort of egoboo they deserve publicly for being moderators on these forums and not being allowed to be properly wroth with people violating the same rules over and over.
