I think because it is co-morbid with so many other things that it can be perceived as a catch all disorder. However once we develop new treatments and diagnostic procedures I think you will find that autism is actually far less common then people think. What is common are disorders or I should say variations of disorders that do not meet other criteria so they fall into the rather broad criteria of autism.

However I was lucky enough to be born with autism in a form that will probably still be diagnosed as such after all the above mentioned twiddling away of the diagnostic criteria happens.

One thing I've found in life is that just because a girl will kiss you, hold your hand, play girlfriend or even have sex with you doesnt mean she wants to stay with you. You are just a temporay diversion. You are better off dude. She likes to play the field and that type isnt worth keeping. I doubt very much she knows what love is and the guy she "loves" is just another swinging **** in a long line of swinging ****.

Dont feel like trash. This is a learning expereince and you are a better person now for having experienced it. Yes, it sucks but trust me, it has made you stronger.
