Hello

when you probe a Wormhole that it 's not open , if it's a close Wh , you open it when you warp on it creating the K162 at the other side .Ok.
But my question is,

are you opening the WH simply strating a warp on it , waping at Zero , or entering thrue ?

Thanks to answer if you really know the process, no speculations please.Lol
Thx

It used to be the way that you opened a wormhole by initiating warp to the signature.

But that has changed. Nowadays a wormhole is not opened just by warping to it. A wormhole is either opened when you jump through it , or it has a chance to open when it's lifetime is below 16h.

So if you warp to a wh that has 24h lifetime and You see the "It's lifecycle has not yet begun" message, the wormhole will be closed for another 8 hours at minimum, if no one else jumps through it. If it falls below 16h lifetime, it can open at any moment, without player interaction.
