Suggestion: contact notification settings

Note: I would like to have an EYE like in SHOW LOCATIONS IN SENSOR overlay, but then for contact labels. When the EYE is enabled a contact notification will be send to the notifications queue, when no EYE is specified, no notification will be given.

Suggestion:
Keywords - Blueprints, UI, Contracts
Rename blueprints slightly so that the item name contains the key research stats.

Example: A Vexor Blueprint Copy with 5 runs, ME 9 and PE 14 would be named "Vexor Blueprint 5/09/14"

Example: A Vexor BPO with ME 10 and PE 18 would be named "Vexor Blueprint (infinity symbol)/10/18".

Suggestion: Allow us the shift+select multiple items from the market menu without us having to copy the section to quickbar first

Note: when using 3rd party apps that require modules names etc to be entered it is easier to copy and paste but am currently unable to to this from the market menu and we have to copy the items to the quick menu.

suggestion: A more detailed search on the market screen

Notes: The search criteria seems quite limited at the moment. for example if I search between a price range I would like all the items outside of that range to actually disappear from the market screen, not just show nothing in the results.

  • Suggestion: Make the arrows around the probe locator either a cylinder/cone combo (instead of the current rectangle/triangle combo), or sprites. Specifically, I want the arrow to always appear to be an arrow, rather than a narrow line, if I'm looking at it from the side.

  • As an example, right now, if you deploy your probes, center on them, and rotate your camera around on the horizontal plane, at certain points the "up" and "down" arrows are arrows, and at other points, they are simply narrow lines. Example:

    As you can see, the arrows for moving it around laterally suffer from the same issue. If the camera is above or below the probe cube, they look like arrows. If the camera is on the same horizontal level as the cube, the arrows are just thin lines. This makes it annoyingly difficult to grab those arrows at times. If they were pseudosprites (ie. their normal to the "long axis" of the arrow was always angled toward the camera, so the flat side of the arrow was always seen unless the camera was angled along said long axis (the arrow is pointing towards or away from the camera)), or if they were 3d volumes, a cylinder capped by a cone instead of being a flat volume, they'd be much easier to grab.

  • Suggestion: Display columns for estimated total isk value, isk/unit, and isk/m3 in the inventory in details and list display modes, and allow the inventory to be sorted by these columns.

  • Running logistics for my corp, it's always a hassle deciding what items to prioritize for hauling out of wormhole (generally I want to haul the highest isk/m3 out first, just in case our hauling trips get cut short by hostile activity), or to see what's worth hauling and what's not. It's also a pain trying to keep track of that in excel sheets, because while I can copy/paste out the list of items, I then have to handkey the values for each stack. Be nice if I could easily sort by these 3 values. The game already displays estimated value for each stack if I select it, so the data is already there, it just needs to be displayed and added to the copy/paste matrix.

    Suggestion: Add "Select All" and "Deselect All" buttons to the Redeem Items page, example.

    When the Redeeming window is opened all the items in it are selected by default. For people who hold many items in their Redeem system it can be tedious to deselect all the items they don't need to be able to redeem only the ones they do. Adding Select/Deselect All buttons to the page would fix that.

    1) Default channel settings, Primarily show text only. It currently defaults to text with small portrait, rather than having to habitually change it could we get some kind of default chat channel settings that any new channel joined will default to?

    2) When activating plex to another character the interface does a search and selects the character, Could it be possible to drag and drop a character in there use the metadata from the link and prevent it from searching. Usually people know what character they want to send it to and name dropping is more secure than having for verify by character portrait.

    • I like to propose the idea to have the ability to buy all the items needed as well as the ships from the fitting window. The way it would work is:


      1. I browse to a ship fit (either via the ship fitting window or a linked fit)
      2. I click on a price check button (or whatever you want to call it)
      3. The window will list all the items, prices and jumps from docked station (including the ship), and a total price of the fit
      4. I can change the settings between the following parameters: in station, in system, # of jumps from station, in region (same as market browser)
      5. I tick/untick the items I would like to buy, then hit purchase
      6. All the items will be purchased from Market automatically


    This allows players to buy items quickly if they have a fitting saved, without having to browse to each items individually and purchasing them individually.

    Suggestion: remote container viewing

    Suggestion: Inexact market searching

    Right now, searching for items in the market requires exact terms. With the module tierecide going on and changing names, it seems like it would be a useful time to allow people to search using less exact terms.

    Example: When searching for Upgraded Thermic Dissipation Amplifier I's in fitting tools, "up the amp" returns the correct item (as well as the Supplemental version). In the in-game market, you need a much more exact phrase, and with some module names, it's easier and faster to just search for the entire class of modules than the one you want.

    Since there is a definite concern for the server-side system having to resolve the names, adding an extra step and more work for the over-worked hamsters, I don't think many people would complain if the resolution were done client-side before sending the exact terms to the server for the request.

    Suggestion: Make the Eve client respect the location of the Windows taskbar if it is not in its default location

    Currently when you open Eve in Window Mode the client assumes the taskbar is on the bottom of the screen and is subsequently moved so it doesnt overlap, if however you have the taskbar at the top of your screen, the client does not take this into account and thus gets overlapped by the taskbar. This is somewhat annoying since you have to resize the window first in order to be able to drag the window into a more appropriate position.

    Maybe a way to make the little broadcast bar expand over the whole fleet window, enlarging buttons. Perhaps (this might be a bit far), customizable, you can choose which buttons go where in a grid.

    This option could be added in the broadcast history tab. Change title to broadcasts, one sub-tab for history, another that is half broadcast history (so DPSers can see targets broadcasted/warp/align tos) and half medium-sized broadcast buttons.

    Suggestion: Change the +1 implant names from "Limited [Implant]" to "[Implant] - Limited"

    As it is currently, the +2 through +5 implants are all quick to find using search terms such as "- basic" and "- improved"

    The +1 implants are an exception, and have "Limited" at the beginning of their name, along with several dozen other items. Changing the names of these implants to "- Limited" at the end would bring them in line with the naming convention of the other regular attribute implants, and would make them easier to search for in the market.

    Suggestion: Mouse Over a Crystal (mining or laser) will show Damage.

    It's silly that there's no efficient way to quickly check how damaged your Crystals are before undocking, or without making a contract. Hell, even if were listed in the Repairshop (but obviously not fixable) it would be a lot more convent.

    Would love for it to remember my clone names. Not world-ending, but still.. especially great when you have all 10 clones, and several have implants or are otherwise specific to situations.
