You need not worry, should be some time before those $30 something skins get bought as there are a large quantity in the market already. Granted they will most likely be around 800mil, but it is a perminantly bound item they shouldn't be exactly cheap.

I guess you can fill the holes by buying some AUR on the market. After buying all skins I am left with 105 AUR and no idea what to do with it for now but I guess there will be more skins.

Yes, I am some kind of collector, at least for subcaps.

yeah, and the thing is, the small segment of players who want to consume the NES SKINS will just buy them with money. The majority of players saying SKINS were a good idea and people holding SKINS for profit will never put AUR on the card.

thats what partial aurum tokens are for. you need more then 1 plex of AUR but less then 2 plex-worth? Buy a plex and a aurum token!

T2 ships... Are those also for plebs because they need to use gates? I'm always confused by those...

The skins "should" work on both T1 and T2 versions of the hull.

jk jk I am ok with skins. i'll never be interested in them beyond their value as investments / speculation. So basically if it's in the NES I don't care about them because the value will inevitably tank, or they'll never spike in ISK value because they're constantly accessible.

ignore me though, when it comes to SKINs. I am and always will be about clothes. I like that SKINs are raising awareness for vanity items though.

As for the odd AUR amounts and SKIN prices, who knows. I see that black SKINs are generally more expensive than others, but they're more random than that. I'm guessing there was an internal CCP feeling vote to rank them by perceived value, and accepting that and moving on.

Maybe it's by dev time.

The AUR rates themselves seem to be set according to the PLEX conversion, predictably. I figure it's why the top tier AUR bundle is just a double of the mid tier. To not water down the PLEX conversion rate.

Making a multiple PLEX conversion rate for AUR might be an option, but I dunno.

Maybe WoD for its fashion would have been more my game. It's unfortunate that white wolf was consumed by EVE for nothing, when all capsuleers really want are SKINs.
