Fleet comp - jump drive skill/jump fatigue timers

The fleet comp window is great for FCs to look/sort by things to make sure their fleet is up to date on whats happening. It would be nice to be able to see things like Jump Drive Calibration level, Jump Fatigue timers in order to make decisions on what to do.

Somewhat simple request, that is all.

But what would happen to our pre-fleet entertainment of the FC asking who has fatigue, and then yelling things like:

"FOR THE LOVE OF CTHULHU, WHY DO YOU HAVE 12 DAYS OF FATIGUE YOU WASTE OF OXYGEN!"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR CARRIER IS IN IMMENSEA AND YOU HAVE 20 HOURS OF FATIGUE, YOU UNECONOMIC FERTILIZER FACTORY!"

or on a slightly different note:

"YOU HAVE JUMP CAL 4! WHY WOULD YOU EVER UNDOCK IT? WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SO BEFORE THE SECOND JUMP! YOU ARE NOT A SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE, YOU'RE A SPECIAL SNOWMAN!"

That's half the fun of fleets right there.

Isnt it just mandatory to have all the tier 2 jumping skills at 4 before you even concider undocking and fighting in a carrier?

And then higher skills are optional?

It used to be. Carriers had a longer jump range than Dreads, Titans, and Supercarriers, so carriers could often get away with having JDC IV, since that still left them with as much jump range as a JDC V any other combat capital.

Now with everything having the same jumps range, and even JDC V carriers having such a sort range, JDC V is no longer optional for fleet operation basically anywhere in nullsec. All fleet jump routes assume you have JDC V.

Jump Fuel conservation could be at 1 for all the FC cares, since we don't use much in the way of topes only making a couple jumps max in an op. Although I believe the carrier itself needs it at 3 minimum.

Level 4 didn't used to be required for carries either. Dreads have always been 4 or 5. As such carrier pilots could travel with the dreads if two seperate flets were ever formed, tho typically everyone moved together.

With the pitiful range of 5ly at max skills all FCs have to run under the assumption of JDC5. A few may make preparations to assist those with JDC4 when needed, but 9/10 times that's not going to be possible, especially in a pinch. Which when it comes to players being denied access to a fleet the problem quickly becomes apparent.

I suggested it in a similar thread that CCP should have just normalized everyone to a 5ly jump range and re-purposed the skill to have another effect. Tho the only idea I've come up with in that department is a 5% reduction in the jump multiplier per level, since that only saves very little time in the short run but becomes more significant the more jumps you make (i.e. helps logi pilots, not much else). Also doesn't break the system as fatigue would still rack up very quickly after the first jump if you aren't waiting out the timer.

As far as the OP goes, yes! The display should definitely show at least fatigue levels. Tho I'd rather some form of my idea be put into place making the showing of JDC levels a non-factor.

There is a programm in which you can tell if you have jf or only jump cal 4 --> Use it and tell it the FC.

No work needed !

It's lots of work for the FC if people are telling them they only have jdc4 and then the FC needs to figure out how many are in the fleet, what ships they're in, should they not come, etc.

Make it doctrine requirement to have it at V. It's not like it will lock "newbros" out of content since they are not in a cap to begin with anyway.

If you want to PVP in capitals and especially supercaps, commit and 5 them skills. They aren't something which you YOLO around in if you want to have things work out well. Most of eve is like that actually, but especially capitals.
