Suggestion: Add "Estimate unreliable" to items with volatile market fluctuations next to the inventory estimate
Keywords: UI, Inventory, NPE
Note: Serves as both a warning to newer players, and as a reminder to those who base their collateral decisions(for courier contracts).
Couriers often become annoyed when the estimate shows half the value of the collateral and blacklist the issuer, based on the inaccurate estimate. This would at least serve as a reminder.

A different warning could be displayed next to the price for researched blueprints, also.

Suggestion: Micro jump drive activation should automate drone recall

Keywords: Micro Jump Drive, MJD, Activation, Drones, Recall

Suggestion: Hover information on linked systems/characters/objects in chat windows

Keywords: UI, Hover, Text, Information, Chat, Linked, System, Character, Object

Notes: Much like the way the hover information works for modules, this system should be extended to include linked information in the chat window.

Benefit: Quicker access to important information.
Benefit: Reduces the number of windows that need to be opened in time dependent situations.
Benefit: Avoids resetting of the autopilot as the primary means to discover distance.

Examples:
Hover information for a linked system could include: number of jumps away, constellation, region and sov,
Hover information for a linked character could include: corp, alli, sec status, age
Hover information for a linked station could include: jumps, constellation, region, services, owner/dockable

System can be extended to include contracts and other linkable objects. Possible to create a system that could be adjustable by the user to show only the information they wanted to see for each kind of linked object.

Suggestion: Each overview tab should have its own listed priority column setting

Keywords: UI, Overview, Tab, Column, Priority, Settings

Notes: Currently one column priority setting applies to all columns in the overview. I find that I have to switch column priority when changing tabs depending on the situation at hand. It would be useful to be able to set individual column priority settings for each tab in the overview.

Benefit: Each Tab in the overview can be better tailored/configured for its intended use.

  • Suggestion: Let us see the locations of our personal assets as a filter on the map view.

  • Keywords: Asset management, Map

---

Notes: The current asset tab does a poor job of visualising where exactly in the universe all our stuff is, putting it into the map display with 'hotspots' and tooltip pop-ups for large stockpiles, either instead of, or tying into, the existing item list, would be a godsend for those of us with junk scattered all over the place.

Please add the 'right click/copy material information' feature that we have available in the industry window to the small menu in the top left of the blueprint information window.

Copying from the industry window currently is the only way to get decent formatting for pasting into a spreadsheet.

Currently we need to either put it in the industry window to achieve this, or we need to open the BP info window, then select all/copy (which leaves us with a crappy format for pasting into excel)

At the very least, just allow it to copy from both these places in the exact same format, i would imagine that wouldn't be too hard to code as it is already there.

While it's not what you want: https://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/dump/latest/industryActivityMaterials.xls.bz2 may be of interest. It's the material requirements for all blueprints, for all blueprint activities. (at ME 0)

Suggestion: Add HTML5 and sound codecs compatibility to the IGB
Keywords: IGB, HTML5, codec, H.624, WebM VP8
Notes:
- It' been a while since HTML5 became an official standard by the W3C.
- It adds a lot of functionality to the browser without using 3rd party tools (ie: Flash Player and it's tonnage of security issues)
- The IGB is only lacking a few codec compatibilities (H.264 and WebM VP8) for HTML's video tag to properly work on youtube and other websites.
- Since it became a standard, is far easier to study it and spot the possible security threats and isolate them.
- It'd make the IGB much more useful and accessible to more content then just text.

I know it has been said before that the devs will eventually remove the IGB.
I find it very useful and a tad faster than alt-tabbing around to get to a browser, it just needs a little bit more love.
Would be awesome one day to be able to see google's spreadhseets there working, even drag'n'drop content from the game there to make any work faster and dynamic (ie: market spreadsheets).

Change the display of advanced crystal damage to read as a percentage and not a decimal.
For example, when a crystal is halfway damaged it says: Damage 0.5. That is a little unclear.
Change it to read Damage: 50%

I made this thread in GD, at the mercy of ISDs.

It's about how the game behaves when the sub runs out while logged in.

Suggestion: Give people more time than a minute to renew their sub before they get kicked,
after receiving the first and only warning ingame. Ten minutes should be sufficient.

Thanks!

Suggestion: Looking at Personal Assets and jumps away in Wormhole space are displaying inaccurate (useless) information
Keywords: Personal Assets, Wormhole, Organization, Update, UI
Notes: All my assets are listed as 2569743 jumps away when I am located in any Wormhole Space. This is inaccurate and will be better to just show "unavailable"," no information", "no data", etc

Suggestion: Standardize Personal Assets and update sort by menu
Keywords: Personal Assets, Organization, Update, Sort by, Menu, UI
Notes: Please update the sort by in Personal Assets. Also, the tabs are just mismatched and confusing. The "Sort by" option should be updated to show - Alphabetical (0>Z/Z>0), Jumps away (1>300/300>1), Number of Items (1>10000/10000>1).
