This makes forming of fleets take much longer than necessary. When entosis-sov hits the servers, it will be VERY important to have the capability to quickly form response-fleets. The UI and client functions should help and aid the FC in this, not put up unneccessary obstacles. This bug has been around for "ever", so pls have a look at it for the "little things" before Entosis-sov is released!

You should have seen the Brain in the Box presentation @ fanfest, then you would not write this, haha... when its released, restate your request.

Suggestion: Make friendly energy-transfers, remote reppers etc applied to my ship be indicated above the cap-meter just as hostile stuff (webs, points, srcams, neuts, ecm etc)
Keywords: combat, pvp, UI
Note: As it is now, there is no indication that you have friendly assistance applied to your ship. An example is in carrier-fleets or logistics-fleets with cap-chains, you have no way to quickly determine that you are receiving cap and nothing to quickly determin that you have lost your cap buddie - you have to zoom in and look at the graphis (they are beautiful, but it's not a practial way). Having an consistent UI that uses the same functionality as for displaying hostile/offensive modules applied to your ship, for displaying friendly modules applied, would be nice!

Suggestion:

In the Corporation recruitment tool, can you add a requirement for a corp to select a "prime time" or most active hour.
And let that be a searchable criteria.

To help when searching for a corp when you play in odd hours / AU TZ / want to know when a corp believes it will be most active.
As most corps list their timezones as 24 hours, its a mute point.

This could also lead into / be a feature when alliances choose their 4 hour window in fozziesoz.

Suggestion:

The Enormous Freight Container does not have the option on the radial menu to "open cargo", so you are left with "right click".

Please add "open cargo" to the radial menu for ALL items that have "Cargo".

Thank you;

Could you re-arrange the add contact dialog? https://imgur.com/oVMdsd9 There's probably a better layout than what I have there; "send notification" is still pretty close to the accept button.

I would like the option to right click on the portrait/name of someone in your fleet and 'Set destination' to their current location.

That would help catching up to fleet members when you forget where everyone is, but don't want to ask because you're embarrassed :3

A recent stupid loss that I had could've been avoided with a little at a glance UI improvement.

So I'm in Wspace and the call goes out to quick roll a wormhole chain that has hostiles in it. We were all for PVP, but at that point was set for some Sleeper PVE and ISK making (got to pay the bills ya know). I jumped into a communal rolling battleship with two other pilots and look at both my module overlay and a brief look at my fitting screen to confirm mass readings, and see this in my midslots.

Cap booster or Shield?

and Cap booster or shield?

Hmmm, cap boosters are vital part of keeping some BSs functioning and I see my lowslots filled with armor for increased mass and warp off to the hole...

In the end, due to a goof by our scout, I got jumped by a hostile gang, bubbled on the hole and scrammed. In those seconds, nowhere did it occur to me to use those Cap boosters... my cap was fine... I used my highslot neuts and deployed ecm drones... but there were too many locks on me, and the neuts were unbonused...

Only to realize on the lossmail that those were X-Large ancillary shield boosters, that would've let me hang on long enough for my back up to arrive. (My head did not compute a dual-tank wormhole rolling Apoc it seems)

Why does the entire Battery icon override the Shield Booster Icon when its loaded in both fitting and ship UI? Keep the Shield Booster Icon plainly in your face visible on the UI and Fitting screen and the 4 battery slots the same on the right side of the icon are good enough to indicate the current module battery load status.

If someone had tooltips disabled, they wouldn't even see it with a mouseover, they'd need to show info.

So please, CCP Karkur, adjust the ancillary modules UI.

Suggestion: Allow roles other than the CEO to receive notifications for "Pilot Left Corporation" and "Member Biomassed"
Keywords: Corporation management, notifications
Note: At the moment it seems like only the CEO receives these notifications. It would be good if other directors and people with the "Personnel Manager" role received these as well so that administration associated with members leaving can be delegated to other individuals who don't have to rely on talking to the CEO or on out of game tools that have a delay.

Suggestion: Add Faction, Tech 2, and Tech 3 tags to ship portraits in the combat log

Keywords: UI

Note: It would be nice to have the same tags for the combat log that ships have on the market, as it would make searching for a certain killmail easier than reading the small text. I.E I am looking for an Ishtar killmail but it is difficult to differentiate it's portrait from the Vexor's.

  • Suggestion: Add a small audio-visual Timer to the "Accessories Menu".
  • Keywords: ui, accessories, menu, fps, session change, timer, tea
  • Note: Since the redesign of the FPS window, there's no in-game timer available anymore.

Rationale: Every good captain loves one's own tea well-timed.

alongside some mass add character too contacts/watchlist would be nice

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Suggestion: Make the "light grey" text colour in the Biography formatting options the same as the default light grey.
Keywords: UI
Note: Image for direct comparison

There is no selection which matches the default colour. If you wish to change the colour of a section of text you often have to cut the entire thing, paste it back and apply all the formatting again.

Suggestion:

I tried searching this but had no luck, so apologies if this has already been suggested.

The ability to use plastic wrap (or something similar) to create packages with unique names. The contents of each package would have a volume that is equal to the total sum of its contents. The package can be given a unique name. The package is a single item, and has to be"unpacked" like the current plastic wrap to retrieve the contents.

- Already an existing mechanic in the game (See courier contracts)
- We all have a **** ton of plastic wrap in our hangers

Example Use case.

Player A, B, C ask me to pick up some things from jita and each give me a list. I buy Player A's things, and plastic wrap them and call it "Player A", I do the same for Player B and C. End result, I have 3 items or packages which I can move to our staging and contract to each of them with ease.

Currently, to accomplish this under current mechanics - we have to use an alt to fail a courier contract (so that our stuff is plastic wrapped) to keep things separate when doing bulk jita trips.

Suggestion: Give me 3D arrows when probing

Can I have 3D arrows for dragging the scan probes around in the solar system map? Currently two of the dimensions are only clickable from above or below. I want to be able to click them from side views as well.

1. Not sure if it has already been suggested however, I would like to see a feature where the Yellow Box turns into a Green Box when it's a ship that is positively affecting yours (Ie repping, capping). Purple if it's boosting (Remote sebo's, etc)

2. Give dreadnoughts the ability to set a number to their siege modules of how many cycles it will run. Like a 'Set Cycles' tab when right clicking the module. Same with a triage module.

agreed, but not just those. all modules that have charges loaded should have their original icon displayed along with the icon of the charges. this will be difficult and I don't know if or how, but in some very specific scenarios it is inconvenient to tell what that module is when it has charges loaded.

Suggestion: An option for POS managers to check for Items in a personal hangar array before taking it down/ option to take the items and store them somewhere safe.
Keywords: ui, POS
Note: With the current implementation it is very easy to destroy items in a personal hangar when you take it down.
---

I hope this is a "little thing", since it is a pos module Lol

Using a pos for multiple players involves a lot of work, at the moment we work with corporate hangar array with bookmarks in the hangar divisions, but if you have a lot of new players which shouldn't have access to all hangar divisions, you have to put up a new corporate hangar for every 3 new members.

I really hope this will be fixed with the new structures, but can we pls have a small change to the personal hangar array until you release them ? (A little more cargo on those would also be nice Roll)
