Disclaimer: I am unsure if I posted this topic in the correct part of the forums. If I have not, I would thank you if you were to place it into its proper location.


According to my mail, I was informed that a bounty had been paid out for a specific individual. But the whole issue with the bounty being claimed for this person, but my concerns lie in my wallet. Recently, I had been rather low on income, and was lacking any substantial wealth. Though, according to my wallet, I had somehow accrued 250,000,000 ISK. Yet apparently, this had happened before the bounty had been claimed.


Any form of explaination to this?

A bounty you had placed on someone in the past expired, either due to time or because the character was deleted. That's my guess.

Huh, that was my first though I suppose. Though I didn't actually expect bounties to expire, since I know little to nothing about that particular part of the game.

Check your wallet transactions to see where the 250m came from. Those bounty mails are to inform you someone else got paid out of the bounty you put on someone, it does not affect your wallet in any way. (Aside from the initial payment you made placing the bounty.)

Edit: or it might be bounties expiring, I forgot about that.

Pro tip: Bounties don't mean anything. Don't bother learning anything about them. Just know that they are a waste of your time and money.

When they say "tiny pic" they mean "TINY PIC"! I'm sure that graphic was all sorts of useful.

like they instantly hit the heart of the matter. What an easy game this has turned to be!

Oh and yes, bounties expire after 30 days of inactivity.

So if the bounteed (?) doesn't log in for a month ...
... the bount... errr.... uhm... bounter lol ... gets his money back.
