The thing everybody doesn't seem to get is that there is no official keyboard/mouse for ps3 and those 3rd party mouses are hacks that alter the signal to avoid the deadzone for example. It's not something you can prevent people from doing but it's still not a sanctioned action.

You realise it's called a USB keyboard and mouse? It's that same thing you (most likely unless you use PS/2 or [shudder] Serial) use with your computer. It's up to the developer whether they allow them or not.

There has to be concrete support from the developer, and trust me, there won't be. They might have said that they considered it but they won't follow through.

I've already unsubbed 4 accts because EVE is going to crap. The second my in-game EVE play is affected by someone playing a separate game on a box the remaining 3 are history also.

Troll away, doesn't matter to me. I pay for EVE to play EVE not to play with or against another game. With all the screaming about P2W in EVE do you not think there is going to be Unicorn Ammo in DUST as is standard with most all console games?

I'd love to hear some numbers on like, how many beta testers you'll be taking, and stuff like how many eve players have signed up.


how many months until beta starts

how many players per battle in dust match

How big the download will be, so i can clear some space

I think your reaction is pretty sad (as in unhappy). I don't think you've really thought about this; we don't really know how dust will impact on eve. And to be frank, puffing your cheeks out and stomping your feet just makes you look childish.

Why don't you wait and see what happens before abandoning your hobby for a worse case scenario that exists purely in your head.

Don't waste your time trying to convince him of anything. He didn't post because he is interested in discussing things. When people get in his state of mind, they stop being reasonable and will stubbornly cling to their perception of things no matter how silly it actually is. He's here to publicly stamp his foot down and that's it. The only thing left is to do is to see whether he actually leaves or not when DUST finally arrives.

He won't. It's like the people that were bitching when Modern Warfare 2 came out, almost all in the steam group were playing the game.

People whine because they think it changes things, but i think incarna proved that if you actually do what you threathening with it can actually have an effect. The effect in this case is of course that i'm happy to have one less of his kind in the game.
