Asking for a new feature in EvE Online

There is one feature that EvE Online doesn't have, and that is a way to "Split Up Stacks". Example: Beeing able to split your stack of 50000 ammo into any value u want. (Take an amount out of the stack) Example: i have 50000 ammo stacked and i only need to have 10000 in my ship, right click the stack and have an option to take out f.exs 10000 or any value u want. I think this is a feature that Everybody have been needed many times and i would love to have this feature in game.

One reason why i need this so much is because i am doing industrial work for my corp, running blueprints, building ammo and stuff. and slit it up to diffrent players while trading or contracting the items.

Select a stack of items... press and hold the "Shift" key... drag the stack over to an empty area.

*window pops up*

Enter the number of units you want moved... press the "Enter" key.

I want it to work on multiple items at once. So, for example, I can select 2000 items each from different 16 stacks.

No, everyone has to learn it at some point.

Also, since you mentioned setting up contracts, you can also split items when you are making the contract.

You do it in the contract second page where it lists all the items you have in station. For anything you want to split, just right click on it and select split. Then you can check just the part of it you want to include in that particular contract.

Did you how long it took me to find out I could make a bookmark without dropping a container? Like I would take one piece of ammo, jettison it, save the cargo container as a location then take the ammo back.


It wasn't until 6 months or so in the game, that I was told I could make bookmarks by using people and places. XD

Is there a way to split a stack into several stacks of the same quantity at once? It sounded to me like that's what was being proposed here.

So like, 1k stack of items -> type in 100 quantity -> get 10 stacks of 100.

You know what he should have proposed? Mass fitting of ships instead of unpacking a ship and fitting it manually one at a time.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!
