So I keep trying to connect to eve but I keep getting Server Status Unknown, etc. If I type in my pw then it cycles for a few seconds to then say " you either have no internet connection or the address/port is wrong" I have a strong net connection, but what is the address? Is there some way to do anything with the address or port?

Another question is anyone else having this problem? I was working fine 4 hours ago so idk what it is.

Having the same problem.

Got disconnected about 30 minutes ago, can't reconnect, and can't access the Patch page to try to re-patch. I can access every other website here, just not the Tranq patch page.

As for the clients showing Tranquility Status: Unknown and not being able to connect, its happening on 2 different puters.

Mine just downloaded a patch but still won't let me connect.

Emergency deploy of some kind is my guess.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

After running PingPlotter, it shows that IP address 4.69.139.106 ae-2-52.edge4.London1.Level3.net has over a 30% packet loss. That is prolly why I can't connect. Twisted

Dont know if this is you guys problem but its similar to a problem i had and i posted this on another thread hoping it would help so here it is (it worked for me)

O.k guys, it appears i was having the same problem but the solution for me (and hopefully you) is quite simple.
Its all to do with poxy firewalls, I run McAfee anti-virus and for some reason it appears to of taken upon itself to block eve from being allowed permission on my computer.

Step 1: open up McAfee internet security suite.
Step 2: there should be a tab which says FIREWALL, status being on. Click on this and then click settings.
Step 3: There should be a new list of tabs in the bottom box. Click on "Internet connections for programs"
Step 4: Scroll down till you find eve, On my computer it said BLOCK so i pressed edit and changed it to FULL access.
Step 5: Cross fingers, click on eve and if problems are solved jump in air and click feet together.
(alternative step 5) Cross fingers, click on eve and if problems still persist throw computer out window and cry into hands.

Hopefully this should work on most anti-virus related problems as it has worked for me.
