Same here. Launcher gives no user/pass input fields.

Seems to be working now, oscarfire. Thanks for your advice.

Launcher not working used it this morning no problem tonite cant connect - says it cannot connect to EVE - tried repair tool it fails also

Launcher only starts in offline mode after being kicked, seems to be a local issue. I was going to clear the local cache but there's no gear to click anymore

remote info file could not be fetched - I have verified that my internet connection is working correctly so I assume it is on the CCP end and the repair tool fails because it cannot connect to CCP also - thank you

What directory of cache files needs to be cleared?


E: Launcher can go to hell. I ran a repair then directly executed the exefile.exe file in the /bin directory.

All sorts of cosmic anomalies, here is just one example:

Not sure what is happening. After the down time this morning I would see the launcher as normal but when I tried to log in the the boxes would disappear and nothing would happen if I clicked any of the links it would say my information could not be retrieved. So I logged in and left it alone after about 10 minutes or so it finally logged me in. Now however when I try and launch the game all I get is a white box with a black bar across the top saying EVE ONLINE LAUNCHER V.2.2.859950 and where all the log in boxes and other information is just plane white.

When I try and repair it says it cannot connect to anything.

I have cleared the cache and nothing changes either. so not really sure what to do.

It would be helpful to get a bug report from the F12 menu using the bug reporting tool for this one, so that we can get a snapshot of your sound hardware and driver situation.


ok i send a supportticket for that via the ingame BugReport....hope it helps and you will be able to fix the audio problems.

CCP what is going on I have tried to log in since patch release and have only been able to do so 2 times and I try the repair tool now it either connects then stops or will not even connect which is the problem I am having tonight. tried doing eveything I have seen mentioned in the post the links provided and such I was even going as far as to try to reinstall the game but when I try to connect it fails you seem to have tried to fix something that was not broken. I am usually understanding with all the delays you guys have given in the past , but this is ridiculous please fix the game back before I decide to unsubscribe my accounts. Thank you for your work and the fun times I have had but if I can not connect before my account is due again I will not renew so far by estimate I have lost in game about 2 bill in the game.

Same issue here. Got a socket closure and then this message upon restarting game. I attempted to repair but it failed and gave me a similar message to the Launcher one.

The .exe route is also a bust for me, launcher won't connect and gives the Remote Info-File error again.

Having same problem - tried all the above and now not only get the remote info-file not being fetched it won't even start the launcher properly.. Running 'repair.exe' does absolutely nothing except give and error message 'errors found see repair log' for details.

Sheesh.. When are you going to learn to NOT try to FIX SOMETHING that is already WORKING??

Hi, yesterday all worked fine for me, my client was running almost all day with no issues. Today i get no response when i try to start the game. The launcher window don't even open. When i try to launch EVE i can see eve.exe process appear in process manager, but it dissapears after a second and nothing happens. I tried using repair tool, but with no luck. My internet connection is OK, i tried rebooting system. I changed nothing in software or hardware since last time EVE worked fine.
