I have a corp director that has a habit of renting offices all over the universe (hisec, lowsec, npc nulsec) for one-time affairs... and forgets to unrent them.

Tiamat finally allows me to get rid of them all! Big smile

THANK YOU!! My favorite Tiamat feature.

We don't want to keep piling more and more checkboxes into the menu, we are looking at completely redesigning the whole thing.

The checkboxes are fine, actually. The problem is having to do it multiple times across clients. Sliders too. If you made audio settings share-able, like overview settings, that would be great. I can think of different audio settings to use depending on my activity. I would ask for saved video settings to go with it, but I imagine switching between them would be a bit more jarring than just audio.

Can we get shareable audio settings like we have for overview, that would be greeeeat. thaaanks.

I don't know, if it's been there before and i just didn't notice or if it got added with Tiamat (can't find anything in the patch notes).

But who put the runway lights on the Tristan? It flashes like a S.O.S. beacon. Roll

You should see them in small swarms as mission rats.

(don't look at me like that. I have a high sec PVE alt to see what's new with these graphics and PVE)

Better. For some reason their lights are synchronized, as well as their guns. It's like a... I can't describe it.

I suppose the synchronization is due to their common spawn time. The guns, though, that part is weird. Blasters, I'm assuming... so they have tiny blinky strobes, and then a bright flash every five seconds (or so). Then the straight trail of the charge.

Couldn't see anything anymore..
Seems a bit to big for this little ship!?
No other ship i've seen has such powerful lights on it.
Are these beacon-lights good for cynos? Blink

Another patch with endless tweaks, rebalances and itterations of existing content. With 2 actual new things (Some npcs and a ship) grudgingly thrown in.

I don't like this new expansion schedule. At least under the old schedule you only dashed our hopes of actual new content twice a year.

Well, let's see. It falls between the end of the holidays when a lot of people were off work, and Fan fest which is traditionally when CCP makes announcements about upcoming big changes for the year.

What, exactly, did you expect from the "dead zone" update again?

Eve is like an addiction; you can't quit it until it quits you. Also, iderno

Maybe you already know it and it is too much "archaic" for you (no sarcasm here, trust me), but just in case:

You can share ALL your settings between all your accounts and characters by copying, pasting and renaming your settings files in:
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\settings

And then, check for these files:
core_user_XXXXXXXX (account settings)
core_char_XXXXXXXX (character settings)

Now, for CCP

To be quite honest, these micro updates are kinda lackluster. I'd rather have it the old way and get a touch of content every once in a while, rather than every 4-8 weeks and receive very little content. BTW, I'm still pissed off about the crappy christmas gifts, who thought that was a good idea? Guess you can kiss the christmas re-subs goodbye next year.

Before everyone goes all white knight and bashes this post, I'd like to say that we are all allowed to hold our own opinions, and my opinion is that the recent changes cater to a younger demographic, so thats probably why its not a winner in my book. I remember the old eve, and this new eve isn't the same place. Id say the average user graphs since '04 lend credit to the theory that what I've said isn't just my own opinion.

tl;dr:
Quit "wow"ing up eve, bring life back to null, bad christmas gifts are bad

When can we get an update for what the next expansion holds?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Put it this way: Look at the time between expansions as they were in the past, 6 months. An imcomplete list oft what we got, starting with Oceanus:

Force Projection
Burner Teams
Fitting import/export
French localization
Higgs Anchor
Sleeper Caches
Skill queue
Sensor Overlay/Compass/Mission Guidance
Multisell
New UI
Shattered Wormholes/Thera
Clone Grades gone
Keyboard Ship movement
(beta) Star Map
Remains of Asteroid Belts
Drifters
Friendly Fire

New Ships
Bowhead
Confessor
Svipul

New gfx/audio

Space Object Factory
Audio Engine update
Belt decoration
Execuror hulls
Blackbird hulls

Changes
Recon Ships
Inty Tweaks
Module Tiericide
Escalation/Expedition polish
Invention
Structure HP
Laser/Projectiles

I also have my doubts towards some points the new release cycle causes, but lack of features does'nt appear to be amongst them.

I'm aware of that option. What I'd like to do is change my audio settings on the fly. That's how I'd make use of shareable / linkable audio settings. Probably as links in the motd of the private chat channel I use among my clients.

Warp & Jump / Warp & Dock

Nowadays I experience quite often that my client often forgets to jump or dock after a warp. For example I select a gate a few AU away and click on jump. The ships enters warp but then won't jump after exiting warp even though it is in jump range (or dock range in case of a station).

....I can't confirm that this an issue directly connected to Proteus.....

With multiple clients running (from 2 to 4), happens 90% of the time ( to me ) , the ship just sit there waiting for me to "alt tab" back to engage the docking or the jump through a stargate.

Same as before.

Is it a feature or a bug ?
