Yep. I'm stuck too. Nothing works, not the launcher, not the client, I can't download anything.


Did you try a repair? It worked for me.

For those with download problems, especially from Florida and close states:

Please send me an EVE-mail (to this character CCP Habakuk), if you are still experiencing problems with downloading, and please include following information:


  • What ISP you are using?
  • What DNS server you are using (if not from your ISP)?
  • Run in a cmd window a tracert to cdn1.eveonline.com and include these results
  • Is there a significant difference in speed when patching through the launcher and when trying to download http://cdn1.eveonline.com/862956/EVE_Online_861477-862956_win.zip directly?


Do not post these results in this thread, to avoid abuse of the information. You can also send a support ticket, but per EVE-mail I can collect the information a bit faster.

Keeping fingers crossed but so far it appears to be downloading correctly this morning. Volusia County, Florida (Daytona Beach). I'm one who could not download anything from CCP about 6 hours ago.

annyboddy else has a cracking sound issue ? i checked all my cables , plugs and stuff and does not want to go away
no problem with other sound sources ....
when is this "feature" going to be removed ?

I was having that problem with selected alliance mails even prior to this patch.

As others have mentioned, even after the 1.1 update, I still have rat sounds everywhere I go. When I encounter rats, I kill them but apparently their audio follows me wherever I go. I tried tweaking the audio but that doesn't help; the only fix is to exit the game and re enter. Didn't have this issue before Tiamat.

We're working on this now. Hopefully the fix will be deployed tomorrow.

launcher painfully slow - wont update - eve repair updates fine - can i download a new version of the launcher someplace ? also i notice you changed the light missile launcher names +1 for that , when you gone stop the flashing ui , i check 4 k of orders a day and it really effects my eyes now days.

Notifications of new mails disappear from the notification history after relogging. IRC it was always the case so maybe it's a feature.

The subtle lighting from the star gives the ship a new sense of physically being in space. The effect is nice.

Anyone have a way it works? repair, launcher, and client fail at 41.9% and reset does not work, as well as re downloading the game.
its not a location thing, New York isn't getting the patch either.

Sensor overlay display setting as well as the ones for indifidual bookmarks/folders (still) show their state - visible or not - only when hovered. Will this be fixed to always reflect the current state?
The individual types of sensor overley/compass objects fade nicely.

No you are not the only one. Posted this on the Mac Issues forum on release day:

The launcher works fine on my MacBook Air. But ran into an issue with audio.

Ran a "Hideaway" combat site in Murini and noticed the chatter sounds of the pirates persisted after clearing the site. The sounds continued during warp back to station and after dock. Haven't logged back in yet to see if the NPC ghosts are still haunting me ;)

Edit: NPC "ghosts" were gone on next login. After another NPC encounter in combat site, I noticed the ghost sounds stopped if I targeted a wreck for salvage. But if I do nothing except warp away, the sounds persist from gate to gate and dock/undock. Targeting other objects (instead of wrecks) has no effect. Also noticed the sounds persist if another capsuler in a belt engages the NPCs.

No! This is what broke MTU loot all. Tiamat fixed it.

Please do not make the auto-close behavior effective for MTUs. Use case: MTU is full of ore. You also have several containers full of ore. As you empty out the MTU into the ore hold of your Miasmos, you should expect the MTU contents window to remain open until it pulls in more ore or wrecks. The persistent MTU window remains until you scoop it to your cargo, which closes the window (when you are finally done with the collection operation). The window close event of other wrecks and containers should be triggered by that container's despawn event.
