Make at least 1 amarr recon use lasers

every other faction has two weapon systems represented in their recons, amarr is just drones.

it seems after the alst couple expansions, amarr has bee watered down in flavor, it used to be they wre lasers/missiles (amarr/khanid) and gallente were blasters/drones, and caldari were always the missiles/ewar

now gallente are pretty much just balsters, and amarr have had their lines replaced adn watered down into being the neut/laser/drone/missile race, they dotn have a real central theme anymore, and its resulted in amarr having entire ship specializations without their PRIMARY weapon system even being represented

this is because they focus on nuets meaning you want as many highs for those neuts as you can get as well nuets need the most cap out of all ewar so coupling that with the weapon system with the highest cap need would not be a good thing

making either the pilgrim or the curse laser would only cripple it


don't get me wrong i always love more options for players its just with how these ships work lasers wouldn't complement them

WHY, considering their primary enemy lore-wise uses almsot no capacitor to begin with, in fact, the only thing neuts are a real hard counter for are REAL amarr boats, the laser ones

Technically, their enemy also have ship sporting active rep bonus (cap sponge) and also lack way of replenishing their cap as their logistic ships don't support cap transfer very well.

to add to this minm ships also rely heavy on prop mods and if you want a slow amarr boat to keep up your going to want to turn that off and originally projects did take cap to use them not using cap is relatively new

I've been playing for 6 years now, and I don't recall projectiles using cap in any of that time. What's your definition of "relatively new"?

fact is, cap can be balanced, ship bonuses can be balanced, as it stands, lasers are the ONLY weapon system across the 4 races not represented in the recon line.

it just concerns me because again, over the last several expansions, any "misc" kind of weapon system, gets tacked on as the "amarr" weapon system, we have, according to devs, 4 primary weapon systems to split among the same number of ships the other races with only 2 have, leaving little choice in ship for specific weapon types and their progression within the amarr line
