Why? Kind of important. Do you think there is a problem? If so, explain what the problem is, why it's a problem, what you think should be done, and why the change would be a good thing for the game.

Was in a fight just earlier today, logi were struggling to lock up friendlies before they got alphad off the field and that was against four ishtars and three VNI's. Not exactly a big group.

They are slow enough.

There are ships called Celestis, Lachesis, Arazu, Maulus, Keres to reduce their lock range and scan resolution quite significantly without any CCP intervention. There are ships called Rook, Falcon, Blackbird, Griffin, Kitsune to reduce their number of locked target to 0, without any CCP intervention. There are ships like Rapier or Hyena or Vigil and Huginn which can make your opponent's ship stop moving immediately or can make its sig radius bloom like a red giant, which all allows you to hit a ship harder and grind through repairs, all without any CCP intervention.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Use the existing methods. Noid the logi/damp it. Or just alpha the target.

Also, as i always point out in these threads, there is PVE content thats utterly unplayable without logi cruisers on grid...

Incursions, high end wormhole sites, Hell i once organized a level 4 op with incursion battleships, boosts and logi... We MAY have been bored...

What I am saying is that "Logi have more uses then PVP" play "fuckyoufleet" or whatever that docterine is called thesedays and neut/damp/jam them to bits... Or do the correct thing and blapphoenix them to death in a volley or two (if the webs dont get time to slow them down far enough)...

Someone missed a big target because they had reps...

As previously stated by many other players in this thread, EWAR ships are your answer. Also it probably wouldn't kill you to primary the logi more often.

And if all of that fails, bring more dudes. Nothing beat reps as good as liberal application of overkill damage.
